I just used an iphone app called songshift to shunt over a few playlists, including a 1000+ song car playlist. It dropped about 30 tracks in total because they were called something slightly different on tidal, so they will need adding manually. Other than that, eezeepeezee.
The mrs is working until 10pm where the pioneers are set up, annoyingly, so wont get to test that until tomorrow.

He's a prime example of someone who has come to the belief that having access to google is sufficient to not only engage in complex scientific, technical or medical discussions but to challenge doctors and scientists.
Hopefully the antivaxx shit see's him take a hit because his reach is enormous and potentially very damaging.

I used to listen to Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson and Brett Weinstein. With the exception of Rogan, the mind boggles at how these supposedly educated, smart people are pushing the disinformation to the degree that they are. The only reasonable explanantion is that they are on the grift and following in Rogan's wake. He used to be really very listenable, with a couple of caveats- he mostly didn’t speak and his guest was interesting. The Louis Theroux ones, Ronson talking about Bohemian Grove, etc. Brilliant. But he was never savvy enough to know he knew nothing and stick to being a platform for cool stories/ideas.
These days I feel fairly queasy at the site of him.

This is such a weird story though, in that people are getting mad that Spotify removed Neil Young's music because of - or "sided with" - Rogan. Young issued the ultimatum entirely on his own steam. Spotify then complied with his request to have his music removed, adding they'd be happy to have him back if he changes his mind
Unless I'm missing something, Neil Young wanted his music removed, so they did. There's a story about Neil Young taking a stand against Spotify and removing his music because of his feelings towards Rogan but the situation seems to be being misrepresented, this thread title included. Ironic considering this is all underpinned by the spreading of misinformation

I don't think people are mad at that, specifically, more that Spotify are platforming an absolute shithead. I don't really listen to Neil Young but I had been thinking about binning it for ages and shining this particular spotlight on it was the final shove, so job done, I suppose.

You can still feel that way without inventing a face off drama between Rogan, Young and Spotify. Young made the ultimatum with no clout, he may as well have just request his music to be removed but that wouldn't have been as big a story. Maybe that was the intention

Hundreds of doctors have written to Spotify asking them to spread spreading misinformation, it took Neil Young to make it news though.
