Is Joe rogan one of these televangelists for stupid people who think they’re too clever for religion or something

He's basically your mate who smokes too much weed. And wants to talk about something he watched on YouTube about the moon landings everytime you see him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see other artists follow suit. It's not like it'll financially hit them that hard.

Then Spotify will have to pick what their priorities are, podcasts or actual artists.

I only heard of this guy recently, has he exploded or just me being out of touch?

Prompting me to look elsewhere for my music needs as well. For those interested in checking out Tidal, looks like it has means of importing playlists from Spotify, so should give an easy way of checking if your regularly played music is available through them.

Edit: just quickly tried this myself and seems it uses third party services for importing playlists. Seems very limited what you can transfer without paying. Might have to do it manually.

So far, Tidal has been really good. All my playlists imported and very little missing (only the most obscure of artists).

We'll see what the rest of the household thinks, but it seems like a go-er to me.

I’ve been looking to switch as well, my dj’ing software doesn’t play nice with spotify anymore. Tidal does I think, but last time I looked it was a bit more expensive.

Just looked at Joe Rogan's Twitter. Literally every post is a retweet of an anti-vax post.

I do like the poster of Joe MIddleclass though.

The interface is worse than prime video

I've said this elsewhere but fwiw:

It's cheap. Very cheap if you have Prime and you pay up front. And it's got the same library as the rest of them and in high bitrate. I think I'm paying something like £6.80 a month which is a lot cheaper than TIDAL/Deezer other "hi-fi" services.

Buuuuuut, the UI is really, really bad. Recommendations often just default to the one specific thing you were last listening to. Albums are listed by popularity by default and there's no way of differentiating between singles and albums. It's just all a bit of a mess tbh. 

So....yeh, I wouldn't recommend it as such. But if you've got a big list of playlists and that's your main thing they're easy enough to transfer over.
