This has reminded me that I have missed the first couple of Roll and Pie Fridays of 2022!

I use bun, bap, or bread roll. Don't make me pick a favourite.

I'm from Manchester, so I'm saying barm cake, although that actually refers to very specific, massive baps.

Oh it's a bread roll.

Muffin, unless it isn't actually a muffin and is instead what I tend to think of now as a bog standard roll (from having lived down south too much).

When I did live down south, ordering a sausage roll was always pot luck in if you got a pastry or bread type product.
