There's a man at Euston now who sells Macaroni pies and proper mutton Scotch pies now. Keeps me going at the Tap. wtf is a macaroni pie and how does he have the fucking balls to even try this. Mutton pies let's go God I hate the tap though I love the Tap, can still get interesting beer for 4.50. A macaroni pie is a crispy short crust pie full of macaroni cheese. It's a standard at footie/rugby games. |

Last time I was in York I had roast beef and gravy in a Yorkshire pudding wrap like a kebab. I was furious it does not exist in London. I can get those at a sandwich/coffee shop near me in Surrey. I would be surprised if you can't get them in London. Not had one at the nearby place, but did have one a few weeks ago at Warwick Castle. It was a bit underwhelming, to be honest. |
