Very much tempted to replace my Pit and Little Mac Amiibo.

I'm tempted to get the Samus and EMMI one, but fuck that price!

I've only really collected the Link ones.

Yeah, I've got a collection of Links, one Zelda and a few Sammys.
I rarely actually use them as amiibos, so they're just very expensive tat. The rest of the house is covered with my girlfriend's stuff though, so it's nice to have my little corner of tat.

My amiibos are spread out around the house, like little Easter eggs. I have Pikmin near my plants. Chibi Robo near my TV and consoles. I have pixel Mario and Link by my bookshelf. I have the Metroid in my hallway. A couple of Splatoon characters on the fire place, etc…
Good job I don’t have kids or they would have all gone missing by now.

Nintendo are offering £10 in Gold Points if you purchase Pikmin 4 in the next couple of weeks. Might get that myself. Loved 3 but havn't felt the need to play 4 as of yet.

Still sitting on Pikmin 4. And the £15 of gold coins I got for renewing my subscription last year.
I’ve been fairly disciplined with my spending habits this year, though.

Have said it before but if you have even a passing interest in Pikmin 4 you should absolutely play it. It is a fantastic game.

I love leaving Easter Eggs around the house. Got a little plastic Smurf toy perched on top of a picture frame in the front room that's gone unnoticed for 2 years. Also find Lego figures bend perfectly to be subtely left in various places. In my younger house sharing "lads" days I had a cut out from a porn mag concealed within the veg tray of the fridge. Household Easter Eggs: Will anyone ever find out? Absolutely thrilling

I havn’t quite had the urge to play 4 yet. I may have already bitten on the offer though 😂

£50 - another reminder that Nintendo don't like dropping their prices.
£38 for a physical copy. But that won't get me the golden coins I assume.

I think it would also work if you bought the digital code from elsewhere, like CDKeys (where it's currently £45.99). So once you factor in the gold coins bonus it would work out a bit cheaper than physical.

I’m surprised Sony haven’t followed Nintendo’s pricing strategy already. They opted for a £70 launch price instead.

One of my biggest regrets is getting rid of my GC copy

It truly is the best Mario RPG by a long shot (and one of the best games on the GC).
Still have my copy and break it out once every couple of years.
Bit worried that all the previews seem to say it's 30FPS and not 60? Normally I'm not too fussed about framerates but this will make battle timings a bit more fiddly. Plus it's a 20 year old game and they had no issue with framerate for the Prime remaster.

I’m hoping they may patch in 60fps but even if they don’t I can’t imagine for this style of game it will have much of an impact. It’s not exactly Mario Fortnite ARPG TTYD 🙂

It'd be pretty weird if they can't manage 60 FPS though
