Nice. I may be in the minority but I really enjoy the subscription model for retro games. It has made me try lots of stuff I wouldn't have risked buying.

Hmm, an interesting issue... I've been using a ps4 pad via a bluetooth dongle for multiplayer switch stuff with the kids, and during a frenetic round of mario kart, I got some very clear stick drift. What gives? I thought that was a joy mainly reserved for joycons, and the pad is fine on the ps4. Will test on a single player game later but I can't work out where the problem is and what fix to try. It's annoying!

Partner Showcase tonight! I suspect it'll be Hi-Fi Rush, and it'll be ready to install NOW.

Why couldn't it have been Perfect Dark instead of Blast Corps

Blast Corps is a masterpiece how dare you.
Also, I get to play Pentiment on a portable, it's a dream come true.

Pocket Card Jockey was a nice surprise. I enjoyed it on the 3Ds. Apparently there are some gameplay changes to make it more strategic. Trying the demo right now.

Wonder if Hi-Fi Rush is coming to Switch 2.
Been a couple rumours that the Switch version got canned.

Pocket Card Jockey looked stupid. I just downloaded the demo. I've just bought Pocket Card Jockey.
Also, in doing so I discover that Dave the Diver has been on Switch for a while! I'd been waiting for that on Xbox, but may as well get it for Switch. I take it that it's as good as it looks?

It has moments of stutter, but it has been patched a fair few times since launch. My partner got 70 solid hours of it.

Also, that was a rather solid direct, if unspectacular. A few surprises and a few more games for the wish list. Nice to see Rare games coming to the online service. We were only reminiscing about Blast Corps the other day!

Just catching up. A bunch of stuff that I'd be pretty interested in, as it's things I've already attempted A new monkeyball with local multiplayer could be great fun. Grounded looks good fun too, though I'm worried it might be a bit too similar to something like fortnite and not hold the kids attention long enough to be worth a purchase. Shame it's not F2P. Endless Ocean Luminous looks nice enough, and we've already spent a fair bit of time on Endless Ocean on the Wii. Is the Star Wars Battlefront Collection is actually cross-play then that might be worth a look for us too. I tried and failed to get OG SW Battlefront local multiplayer set up on our PCs, but it was a pain in the butt and buggy on one PC. Of course that would mean buying it again *twice* for Switch and PC. [edit] hold on! Screw all that, there's a new World of Goo coming???!!! Not sure how it'll work on controllers, so I'll probably grab it on PC, but woo hoo!

The first was an excellent game, but yeah, can't see it working as well with analogue sticks. Suppose they could technically use the switch's touch screen as a control option. It translated fairly well to phones from what I remember. I'd say PC/steam deck touch screen or the inevitable Android port for me.
Definite day 1 purchase anyway... Can't wait!

They ported the first one to Switch with Gyro aiming. I assume it’ll be the same with this one, just a smidge more refined.

Pocket Card Jockey on 3DS was not a perfect game, yet still it was one of my most played games ever, up there with Championship Manager and Diablo 3.
