I think Feet says help me get my Firespray Gunship back or something, not really retconning but just feels off, like calling the Falcon the generic light freighter name.

I think he establishes that the shields are vulnerable to melee or physical attacks but energy weapons are hopeless against them. Also, if he got Slave-1 you’d have to ask why a fleet of Pyke ships didn’t just descend on them all. Which you should ask anyway. Kind of makes all the goodies shooting at the shields, even stopping mid-flee to turn around and shoot at the shields, pretty fucking stupid then, doesn’t it? Not as stupid as the baddies neglecting to shoot a rocket at all the goodies bunched up inside each other’s bumholes behind the speeder, though The final battle really was what a seven year old would have battled with their action figures, turned into live action. Only thing missing was mashing the faces of the hero and a female together at the end for a victory snog. |

I have a feeling I’m going to show a lot of ignorance now, but has Slave-1 undergone a name change, and, if so, is it a political correctness thing? Was it ever called Slave-1 in the movies? first I heard it had a name was during the recent change (I didn't watch any of the animated series or books/comics, so guessing it was named there?) |

We knew it as Slave-1 from the toys in the 80s, plus various magazines, etc. from the time.

Was named in a 1977 comic, buy yea everyone knew it was Slave 1 by the time the toys and Empire was out. Now it's Boba Fett’s Starship™ on the lego site.

Re-subbed to Disney+ at our lad's behest, there's more worth watching now for a bit too.
So started watching this. I have to say that moped/speeder 'chase' sequence in ep3(?)was on of the shittest, most laughable things i have seen in ages.
