Covid is definitely doing the rounds again. My boss and neighbour have had it. I feel dreadful and may have some tests knocking about.

I think I have it, and have given it to the wife. Over the weekend I thought it was just a bad cold, but something went 'bang' in my right ear and I'm completely deaf in it now too. The doc reckons it is fluid on the ear drum and will mend - I bloody hope so  |

I wonder if the tests still work properly on whatever Greek letter variant we’re on now, I’ve had the “something’s been on fire” smell for a couple of weeks like I did last time I had covid but testing negative

I think anything that detects omicron should be ok, as it's derived from that. |

I have some tests from work, they are in date (expire 2024) but I am suspicious of how well they work now as they were bought a long time ago.
Few weeks back I had a "cold" which floored me, all the aches, sore throat, cough, massive lethargy - basically all the symptoms I had the last two times I officially had it. Tested 5 times over the 2 weeks, all negative.

We all got (an?) RSV last year. Walked and quacked like covid but wasnt. Nastier than post-vax'd covid, too. Took a few months for the mrs to bounce back. Could be something like that going around again.

Mum, sis and two nieces all had it a few weeks ago, nothing more than feeling like a cold but tested anyway due to a close contact and came up positive. I felt awful, like I'd been hit by a truck, at the same time, got 3 negatives. I was using older but still in date ones I got from work (I even opened a second box for the third test incase the others were faulty) while they used ones they picked up when they got the message from the contact. So I'm willing to believe the older ones are useless as there's no way I also didn't have it at the time.

I've had a cold for the past week or so and have felt completely down, lethargic and just shit. Wife now feeling super low energy but no snotty symptoms yet. Starting to wonder if it's more likely this than that.

I'm snotty and headachey with sore throat. Not quite sure it's covid but I've always been really prone to sniffles. Feels more like a bad cold than covid, now.

It's fucking ridiculous that the people still bleating on the loudest about covid (whilst the rest of society have moved on) are the plandemic bunch. Almost like they built this whole profile around being anti-vax, 4g implants etc and now they've nothing to post about that gets any engagement so they are stuck in 2021/22 for the rest of time.
As usual, a cursory glance at the profiles those who reply approvingly to him unearths the usual pro-Russia/Trump, climate crisis denial, anti MSM narratives. The Venn Diagrams are strong with those lot.
