rftp - you've probably already discovered it, but pixels seems to come set to a lower resolution by default. You have to enable full res in display settings.

I avoided the pixels when choosing my last phone due to the overheating issue. I'm happy with my refurbed S23 ultra so far, takes everything I chuck at it in its stride, rarely gets hot. Usually steer clear of samsungs as well but this one seems to get most things right.

I flipped and got myself a flipping flip phone! Razr 50 Ultra
But it turns out I don't really ever have to flip the flipping thing open.
The front screen handles pretty much everything - but YouTube, and photos are cropped - other than that? Front screen only.
So now I'm using a screen one handed that is about half the size I'm used to.
Anyway it's a new shiny that is NOT a black slab of a phone. It's different and flipping a phone closed to end a conversation NEVER gets old.

Black Friday deal with Three, upgrading my phone from a Galaxy S20FE to an S24. Really good deal, I've been on 12gb of data up until now, the new deal will be 150gb, plus a tenner a month insurance that I didn't previously have, and it still comes out to £15 a month less than what I'd been paying.

Had the Pixel 8 for 3 months now. It's a piece of shit, nowhere near as good experience as other pixels. Slow and unresponsive at times and the wifi constantly drops out if I move between access points at home. Seems a common problem going by the sub-reddit. Grrr.
