Goddamn, that door noise in the 2nd campaign gets me every time!

I'm not brave enough to turn off outlines yet but turned the kill confirms off.

Made it to the second campaign last night after doing mission 3 of the first one with two randoms - only I ended up running it twice, as the first time it seemed to fuck up at the last wave based bit and didn't kickstart the next sequence of events so the three of us had to quit which was a shame. Then thought to take a quick look at the first mission of campaign 2, took the bots with me as didn't intend to do much of it but ended up finishing that first mission. Nice change of locale and quite impressive at times, especially the end of the mission.

I must have done something in my PS options to mute cunts anyway as I so far haven't had anyone talking. Either that or they just weren't talking.

Yeah I haven't used cover yet but from what I know awaits, it will come in handy.

It's buying new weapons/unlocks rather than loot.

Went through the campaign missions and had a right good laugh. This isn't a big budget game but I'll definitely get hours of entertainment just mindlessly blasting xenos off of ceilings. Very much an unplug brain, podcast on in the background kind of thing.

Flamethrower makes the engineer class a lot more enjoyable. I do miss my pulse rifle though.

I actively hate the music in this.

Desperately trying to survive the hordes of alien bastards whilst a drunken version of the nutcracker suite is parping away in the background is a real mood killer.
