I mean, it would be ok if people could talk about *some* holes to pick, it's a more interesting discussion than dozens of "hey I liked the show, 9/10" posts. I agree but from past experience on the internet it becomes a hassle with some fanboy/currently obsessed with new thing gets really angry at the slightest constructive criticism.

We can all agree, no matter how much we enjoyed the series or not, that LA having the lights come on at the end, was complete and utter bollocks. Unless someone decided to go around the city rewiring the place, 200 years after atomic bombs were popping off, for some unknown reason.

I'm choosing to see that as representative of the win, rather than... nah, OK, it was a bit bollocks (How long as this site been active? I still don't know how to do spoilers.)

IIRC you can use code tags to show how stuff works:

Just finished it. Good stuff, I think I preferred the first half and I wasn’t keen on quite a few things in the final episode but far far better than I was expecting. I might installed fo4 tomorrow on pc when the latest patch is out. I never played new vegas I heard great things but I’m thinking it will be too dated now to appreciate what it was when it was released.
Is 76 any good co op? Can I do co op from the beginning or is it like loads of games where you have to play solo until a certain point?

Sure. But I think most people on here (with one glaring exception that I'm sure I don't need to name) are basically going to be chill about it. So nitpick away, it's fun to do!

In my mind canon I've just decided in regards to the spoiler that they've been there for ages so likely got what they could set up while waiting for the power source. It's flawed but good enough for me to accept and move on

Attempt 2 - tried to spoilers again the plot armour of some characters eg The ghoul can't kill Maximus in ep 2 when he has mentioned the flaw in the power armour but in the last ep then the ghouls guns down all the derps of steel (while they just stand there like bethesda AI) with the armour flaw (not like he has VATS either) Also Lucy gets rotten finger from a draw, when she was going to be harvested for her organs anyway Another Moldaver should of took Lucy as back up to make hank more cooperative I think these scenes could of been written better

The finger scene made sense to me given what followed. Giving Lucy a false sense of security before the twist that she's getting her organs harvested. I didn't mind it, anyway.

The finger loss was obviously never going to stick because unless they were going to be wearing gloves for the rest of the series it would be a complete pain in the arse to work around constantly. Plus in a world, exactly like the game so props to them there, where pretty much any injury (not amputations) is fixed with the application of a stimpack losing a finger is not too much of a stretch it can be fixed.
To steal the Pitch Meeting style -
"And then they get their finger cut off!" "Wow, won't that cause a huge problem, that's their trigger finger and we'll have to green screen it out or people will notice we've not cut their finger off." "Super easy, barely an inconvenience, they'll get a very dead finger that's been in a drawer, for years possibly, in the very next scene." "Oh, that's okay then."

A better written scene would of been Dr Robo berry gets a finger from fridge and uses that instead of rotten finger (also it makes sense as harvests people)
Also not telling Lucy he was going to harvest her organs (its like a bond villain telling someone their plan) just tranq her once he got her trust. There is a way to make the scene work and for Lucy not to get tranq

With the ghoul and the armor weakness you see him loading specific armor piercing rounds right before, he didn’t have that with Maximus.

You'd lose the humour of the scene by taking that approach. I agree it was silly that Lucy loses a finger only for minutes later to have a new one, but the quick flip of helping to harvesting (with cheery optimism) was what made that scene work imo.

Viewing figures were apparently quite good.
Also, it has taken me until now to realise that Ella Purnell is the voice of Gwyn in Star Trek: Prodigy.

Finally got around to watching the first one. Massive fan of the games so wasn't sure when Amazon picked this up.
Liked the opening, although very silly, and the stuff in the vault. Brotherhood of Steel though, pffffffft. Generic meathead military training camp is so tired. Hope that takes a backseat or it's more interesting after they leave.

This really gets going around episode 4. Vaukt 33, Matt Berry and the whole scene in the mart was incredible. They really were fans of the games.
