Just had a coffee from Subway as I had to buy something to use their car park. The coffee was better than Greggs and Tim’s, worse than McDonald’s.
Edit; also I noticed they do “rotisserie style chicken” as an option now, which is actually just chicken and not that reformed Bernard-Matthews style shite.

I have to say, your pics have sold me on it. If there was a fast food chain here that did Doughnuts, McDonalds-ish breakfasts, wraps and Habanero Burgers I don't think I'd ever leave.
Do they have Tacos or Burritos, cos that would seal the deal?

Yep you’re given a burger at A&W based on where you stand in the family. It’s resulted in some VERY twee tv ads where a grizzled patriarch takes his adult son for a burger and orders a Papa burger only to be surprised with a Grandpa burger.
His son’s been fucking, you see.

Had a burger and fries from Cheatmeals - apparently they have a few stores in London, this one is in Bristol though and short walk from my house.
It was actually pretty decent, not amazing but better than, say, Burger King (closer too). Not too expensive either.
I'll likely go back there again (assuming it doesn't close down like the last few places that rented that shop did).
One minor quibble is that they use Brioche buns, not really sure I need my burger in a cake.

Had the spicy chicken burger from the new Greggs hot made to order menu today. 7/10 better than McDonald’s, not as good as kfc zinger (but close). Only £4 and a decent size and a proper breast.

Had an amazing stuffing coated crispy chicken burger with brie, cranberry and bacon the other week at a pub nearby. Was absolutely sensational.

One of my most cherished life memories is of eating a Beavertail pastry up Grouse Mountain one day during a terrible hangover. I can still taste that fucking pastry it was so gooooood

Yeah the name isn't great, and I only really went there because the local chippie is closed on Sundays and it was the next closest thing.
On reflection the brioche bun really let the side down. If it had been a normal bun it would have been a strong 7/10 kind of place, but with the bin it's probably just a 6.
