Philly Cheese Stack - McDonalds - eaten in the car
Like any limited run burger from McD's, you get a bad burger that makes you wish you just ordered a Big Mac. Sure, it's still bad, but it's less bad and you knew what you were getting.
So the gimmick with this one is its two patties with normal cheese slices and onions, but with that they include gloopy cheese sauce as well. It's not as vommy as whatever they think the sauce they put in a Big Tasty is, but it's not far off.
Paired with large fries, coke zero, and 9 McNUggets
Depression level: 8/10
Overall experience: 4/10

I got a notification from McDonald's about the Philly Cheese Stack. I really need to switch these off, as I only ever go when I drive long distance on the motorway.

We're only now getting Burger Kings here in Belgium, so I have a whole new menu to explore.
And when I say explore, I mean find one thing that's okay and then always get that.

XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal (go large, of course) was my go to for Burger King. Never was a fan of McDonald's.
KFC and their Zinger Tower meal is the king of fast food food though.

Big Tasty is the only half decent thing they do.
Ex was always ordering Mcd's and I went along with it because I have no personality of my own when I'm around others.

Never liked McDonalds outside of their breakfasts and that's usually only after a night of drinking. The sauce on the Big Tasty is bloody horrible too, it tastes like mild sadness.

Sorry - probably shouldn't have opened with a clear "I'm depressed" post outside of the depression thread. But eating the crap burger so other people don't is a worthy pursuit.
I really wish there was a Wendy's near me. Now that's good sad eating. I would quite happily dip their chicken fingers into a milshake even when cheerful.

I don't know why everybody seemed content to slate KFC fries, I always thought they were quite nice with the skin on, and never burned to the point of being crisps like McDonalds ones frequently could be. Now they've started coating them in that mixture of what seems like it could well be 12.5% salt, 12.5% pepper, and 75% MSG I could happily eat them on their own without the accompanying chicken.
Do TGI Fridays still do that Jack Daniels BBQ glaze on things?

Burger King had a period over a decade ago where they changed their fries and and advertised them with Mr Potato Head - they were absolutely gorgeous. Nowhere near as good now.

There's a new taco bell near us that never seems to have anyone inside or going into it. There were reviews on the local FB page when it opened and everyone of them was complaining about getting the shits from it.
