Only the McMuffins though, don’t think I’ve seen the McGriddle or McBiscuit in the afternoon

My other half has it in her head that Tim Hortons is some kind of sacred ground, and if we see one we always have to make a detour, but every time I've had some of their donuts or coffee I'm underwhelmed to say the least.

I've had two donuts from there, from two visits.. but they both had no taste. It is kind of like those giant dounts they sell in shopping centres from time to go. You think that it'll be great.. wow a giant donut but, it just tastes of grease.

A Canadian colleague of mine once gifted me a tub of Tim Horton's coffee, telling me I was "in for the best coffee experience of my life!".
I wasn't. It wasn't.
I mean, it was ok. But in the way a cup of coffee from just about any chain is ok.

Friends are the same after a few visits to canadia, so when they opened here, we went. Was very disappointing after all the hype we'd heard. I think one of the three donuts was nice, the rest were meh, the lad's burger was terrible and the coffee wasn't great either. Not rushing back, if indeed ever again. Maybe it's better over there?

Tim Horton’s is ok here. It’s quite cheap compared to Starbucks so they’re slways busy. There’s waaaaaay better donuts but Tim’s are pretty reliable and super convenient

No joke, but the best donuts are those frozen ones from Tesco. Stick them in the air fryer for a bit. Amazing.

Some of the best donuts are from a place around the corner from me called Harmony. 2 surly old ladies run it, the walls are covered with decades old hot wheels and other toys still in the packaging, there’s all sorts of memorobilia filling the shop. There’s tables from a 50s diner but there’s no seating, takeaway only. There are coffee machines but they don’t serve coffee. The donut operation is crammed into one tiny corner with the rest of the place filled with chintzy tat. $8 for 6 of the best donuts you’ll ever have, I love it

Gluten and wheat free frozen donuts sound like they'd be the opposite of nice.

Yeah Vancouver is pretty great, it’s an outdoorsy paradise if that’s your bag. All the things I enjoy doing (bikes, hikes, sports, workshop space etc) are generally better here, and the things it lacks compared to big European cities (culture, theatre, galleries etc) are things I didn’t really bother with anyway so don’t miss. They actually fund schools here so the kids are much happier

Just bought an Air Fryer (the Ninja Double Stack XL as have no work surfac). Straw was getting a smart meter and realising it was costing a fortune to cook nuggets and chips or a par-baked petit pan. HMU with top recipes and tips.

I saw a Tim Hortons in Bangalore airport. Globalisation, eh? The only time I've ever actually been in was in Riyadh. We got dropped off at a mall two minutes before Jumu'ah (Friday prayers) and literally everything was closing, shutters down and wouldn't even speak to us. The driver just screeched off in a blaze of tyres, leaving us outside in a shadeless 50 degrees. The guys running the Tim Hortons took pity on us and let us in (basically risking their jobs and stay in the country), bless them. That might be one of the best donuts I've ever had.

Donuts are disgusting full stop. The ring ones are bad, but those sacks of red goo are grim. Like eating a malformed organ.

What’s Bob Marley’s favourite donut?
Jammin’ (Jam-in)
And he hopes you like jam in too
They never covered this in the biopic
