I have a cold/cough.
Haven't had one in about two years at least. Not quite at the "Please grant me the sweet release" stage, but I have just about hit the "Swearing at inanimate objects that I feel have somehow crossed me" stage.

Got a dose of covid after a long weekend in Edinburgh celebrating my folks 80th birthdays.
Lots of folk sneezing on the trains, in shops etc. I am blaming the manky guy who sneezed on my son and I instead of sneezing the other way. Cheers geezer.
Although, given my dad also has it, it's maybe more likely to be a restaurant or uber where we were all present. All the multitude of boosters seem to be doing the trick for him not having it too badly thus far.
Thankfully, it also seems reasonably ok for me too , although it has really flared uo the asthma i got after my first 'official' positive tested encounter with covid earlier this year.

Went to a gig last night, on the way back managed to trip over the curb and full on face plant. Glasses smashed into my nose peeling off some skin, blood everywhere.
I'm too old to go out.

Managed to fall off my bike riding to work, handlebars hit a post when I was trying to avoid a pothole. Now have a plaster on my knee.

I e bravely endured the boredom of minor injuries unit while waiting on the other half being seen for dislocating her finger after falling off her bike this morning.

Me again, turning into a right klutz.
This time I slipped on our wet driveway, right on my arse and hand quite hard. Shouted "FUUUUCK" like an absolute bellend. Then blamed the dog for pulling me over the bad bit of the driveway. All a great look at 8am on a Sunday morning.
Had to go back in and change, rinse my bleeding hand, saw my leg is bleeding as well. Tell my boss I'll be missing my train.
Up until that fall I've been suffering a bad back for days, and that was what I was really worried about when I fell. But somehow my back actually feels less bad now. Maybe the ibuprofen kicked in by then. Hand still hurts though.
