Went from not liking the direction of this game at all to almost feeling sorry for it now
Really is baffling it took them this long to finally do something with the Arkham formula and this was the end result. Shame because we might not end up seeing anything more from it now.
I guess when you want Marvel's Avengers game but with DC characters you end up with exactly that. Many of the criticisms seem similar too

It can't even hold a stable 30fps? Yeah it's something that I don't get too hung up on but for the life of me I can't work it out especially if you look at the minimum pc requirements for 60fps and they are way below the Ps5 and XSX. |

Yeah the Digital Foundry video is incredible really. Asset quality is pretty high throughout, everything else is a complete shit show basically. More than that though the art direction in general is a complete shambles compared to the previous games.
The performance is baffling. Why is this running at native 4K with Ray Tracing if it can't even hold 30fps? Unless or course there's a more fundamental issue with the engine/game that's hampering performance, so they thought "fuck it, may as well go balls deep on the resolution and ray tracing".
Utterly, utterly odd.

I was watching the skill up video. The main takeaways seem to be
- This looks like it was exactly like avengers but they shat themselves when everyone hated that, so we are left with a game with all the worst parts of being live service, terrible gear, spongey enemies, progress locked behind grinding, 100000 types of currency and all that shite without a shop
- Inside missions (which are usually campaign missions) perform fine. The engine cant handle outside free roaming which is where you are always dragged back to for the pointless busy work. Almost like its been handled by two teams and performance is pegged to the guys who cant do their jobs properly.
Tbh, it 100% looks like one of those games that will get a decent 'its a new game now' megapatch when everyone stops giving a shit.

I've only started doing it recently as it takes no time at all and some of the quizzes are actually a bit of fun. Create a collection full of searches in Edge, open all, minimise the window and let it get you search points while you do something else. Annoying the collection doesn't want to sync on my phone so I mostly just do it on desktop. |

I'm banned from the rewards scheme and support refuse to tell me why. All I can recall that was slightly out of the ordinary was doing exactly that when it first launched, which I think someone recommended on HUKD. Folder full of bookmarks -> open all.
Wouldn't mind, but I still get constant reminders rewards whenever I play a GP game or use the app.

The pound isn't too far ahead of the dollar these days, and it's only 4650 for $5 Xbox gift cards.

Just checked to verify. It's 5000 here if it's your first time, 4650 each subsequent time it you've earner "level 2" for doing 200 bing searches in a month. Which sounds like a lot, but if you're using bing specifically for the gift cards, you burn through that in a couple of days, to a week.
That is a fairly big discrepancy though.
