So apparently The Mummy is to get a renewed cinema release celebrating its 25th anniversary, I hope it comes to a cinema near us but as ever it seems no cinemas ever want to speak of any future showing dates or confirm anything for the future the muppets. I recall watching Jaws in the cinema a few years back with my youngest, apart from us two there was only one other person in the cinema, if only they publicised these things a bit more!

Ohh - Alien is amazing on the big screen. Saw it back when they re-released it to cinemas in the 2000s and it was extremely scary.

I usually end up doing a Spaced-Cornetto Trilogy re-watch every year and had been thinking I might save it since the 25th anniversary of Spaced is the same week as my birthday (fuck I’m old) but I’m sure I could fit in another quick go at Shaun sometime this week.
To be honest, I could probably do most of it just be closing my eyes and remembering it at this point.

Didn't particularly enjoy the first movie. Maybe because I had the pre-concieved notion of what direction it would take, being some form of retelling of the Joker origin story.
I just found it less of an origin story of a criminal mastermind and more some weird glorification of mental illness.
The tale of a deeply mentally disturbed, sidelined and bullied member of society lashing out in whatever crude ways he could, creating his own version of reality around his own actions, felt more like something incels would lap up, rather than even the darkest take on the DC Character.
That said, I'm curious about the sequel!

He may want to but Zemekis and the co-writer somehow managed to get the final say on any spinoff, sequel or remake and they both say the have and will veto anything.
So as long as one or both are alive, no more BTTF.
