My issue isn't with Young
I still don't get it. Young wanted Spotify to fuck either him, or Rogan off on principle (the principle being Rogan is an antivaxx potato), they obliged on what a lot of people consider is a shitty side of the argument - I pointed at commerciality earlier in the thread. It was reported as such. Young has gained nothing from this. The thread title is literally what has happened. Spotify had to choose and, in the view of many people endowed with the ability to think critcally (this is NOT A SLIGHT ON YOU), they done goofed with their choice |

i only ditched Spotify as it still shows me what my Facebook friends are listening to despite me deleting my Facebook account. That just means your account isn't really deleted. |

Really though, I made my point and people questioned it. I was just replying to those people. It's difficult not to get drawn into something when you have several people querying your point. I had a small issue with the way the story was being framed - it wasn't suppose to be a crusade. I'd like to remove myself from the discussion now

I was rather unimpressed by the BBC's clickbaity headline that made it sound like Spotify had thrown Neil Young off the platform. The article itself was fine, but the headline was pretty misleading.
I guess that's a separate issue though about reporting and media.
