Then what's the problem with them following the money? I don't know if this is a 'bit' but the problem is the same thing that's been said repeatedly in this thread, the news and the radio signals which are now working their way to alpha centauri I don't know what this means
Let me put it this way, the way I look at this story is that Young wanted his music removed from Spotify and they did. However, by offering the ultimatum, he framed it in a way that would get a much stronger emotional repsonse from people and it seems to have worked

Either way Amazon is variable mp3, Apple and and tidal use aac for lossless and Alac/flac for lossless Edit: you need a dac for use of hires music on Apple Music, I assume it’s the same with tidal |

I look for and read about music so Apple Music suits me, but don’t go quiting Spotify thinking another service will have the magic algorithms that Spotify has. Apple Music has a similar ability but it’s as shit as Siri is compared to Alexa |

tidal has a small library compared to Spotify I'm not sure if that's true any more. So far, I'm missing virtually nothing from my Spotify libraries on Tidal and I have some fucking esoteric tastes. A couple of songs on playlists were missing, but mostly it's because the tagging is slightly different. One artist is not there (out of a lot) but they're not a surprise, only one of their records were on Spotify. |

I have to say, after dicking around with various trials and farting about with various apps, if I wasn't bothered about high res music, I would probably be sticking with Spotify. Each one of the rivals has at least one glaring hole Spotify doesn't have.
I've been wanting a better quality streaming service for ages and have been hanging on for Spotify HD since they announced an actual fucking year ago. That's pissed me off more than the Rogan thing, tbh. Neil Young giving them shit probably wouldn't have done it by itself.

Yeah if anything it will push up has sales, i only ditched Spotify as it still shows me what my Facebook friends are listening to despite me deleting my Facebook account. I also preferred argot services aac/lossless formats.
