It's not full fibre as maximum I can get here is 80mb so no idea on that one. We can't get more than 80mb but can't even get a phone line now, so it's not about the speed. If you needed a phone line it would have told you when you signed up. this is the FTTC (fibre to the cabinet) and copper to house then you will not have a phone line anymore unless you specifically request it.

Just done the bi-yearly dance with Sky. The first time I’ve had to go through to cancellations to get a decent enough deal

They’re going to start getting stage mediums on the phones soon. “Someone’s trying to contact us… I’m getting an M. Ma… Mo… Mi… I think her name’s Mum. Do you know a Mum? Yeah, that’s her. She’s saying stay with us.”

NOWTV finally offer UHD. For £9 extra a month. Although they've gifted me UHD for the same price as normal boost, so reasonably content. Noticed it ping up with HOTG yesterday.

Should do but.on selected channels only. help.nowtv.com/article/what-are-boost-and-ultra-boostIt's a ballache though, I share a NOWtv sports sub with a mate and will need to switch accounts on the telly to get UHD goodness this season. Usually I just use an old roku box.

Yeah I share as well (after you suggested it a few years ago actually) and it worked well for us the last two seasons. Starting to worry this might be the last chance for it to work though, as companies start clamping down on the password sharing.
Oh for a Premier League pass.

We could probably get around that by using the same WiFi - he lives opposite and we can largely pick up the same network!

TalkTalk gave me Sky Sports for 2 years at £20 a month when I re upped and Sky entertainment at £2.99 a month for 6 months. More than happy with that with the footy round the corner. I will bin the entertainment in November when its goes to £9.99.
Cricket, F1 and Gridiron are a bonus, though I have DAZN NFL package for my beloved Cleveland Browns, Sky games are shown next day on DAZN , saves me getting them on the high seas. DAZN is a lump of money but you know, needs must.
Not paying £9.99 for UHD, fine with the 1080p I pay for, even that leaves a sour taste. I moved my Netflix to TalkTalk at the same time but dropped it from UHD to 1080p, its fine.
So I have added metaphorical cords

Sky Q subscriber hoping that this means the shitty Sky Go app will now have UHD streaming on other devices, but not holding my breath.

Have not used now tv in ages, must of been around 2010/2011? when watching GOT new seasons. Today its still 720p and adverts if you don't buy their boost package which is not even 4k (4k is more money). I know everyone here knows this but fuck me 720p with ads as bottom package!. Just got the boost trial and will cancel it before the 7 days is up and then cancel now tv before it renews

I find it very annoying that PS5 gets Now TV in 4k but Series X tops out at 1080p.

Couldn't get a deal with Virgin to get TV back with BT sport so gone the route of broadband only for £29 per month which that alone is a nearly £5 more than it was previously.
Anyway, thought I'd put this out there. Looking at getting a premium Discovery plus account so all the TNT sport channels (formally BT Sport) and Eurosport content. £30.99 per month.
I'm thinking it's possible to share the account and cost if anyone is interested? I'm only after it for the motorbike racing and even then I'll have to catch-up with it due to working weekends.

All of them I suspect. Not sure I'd be giving my personal details to any of them though
