They can do whatever they want! But I feel like they've escalated the whole "Homelander going a bit crazy" thing about as far as it can go. It's already getting a bit repetitive, so I wouldn't mind if they killed him off. Or did something like stripping away his powers or something.

I wasn't mad keen on the last season and I actually found Gen V quite annoying in the end. Its all become very self-satisfied and one note. I was sticking it out because I assumed the end was in sight but if they are dragging the arse out of it, I think I'm out. I suppose that's the problem with having read the comics, I just want to see a satisfying conclusion and I really don't think we are going to get one as it proceeds to diverge from the books (for better or worse). |

Yeah just a better hair regime.
Good start to the season with a couple of surprising cameos, one very obvious, one I didn't realise until the credits as it's a voice role.

So this show really is just reality, huh. It's genuinely making me uncomfortable how many of the lines are lifted from what modern irl politicians are literally saying.
I get that that's the point, that apparently we won't get satire unless it's a sledgehammer to the face, but still. It hasn't been a particularly fun watch so far, aside from a couple of scenes.
