She is incredibly bland, as a human. Dunno why they're getting bent out of shape about her.

Yeah I can't possibly see how having the most popular recording artist on the planet endorsing Biden could worry the GOP even if that threat currently only exists in their head and is likely not to happen.
However if they're going to make such a fuss about it maybe she will after all. She can't actually run for President herself though, as she'll still not have hit 35 until December.

You're gonna fucking hate this but I do actually have a mate who runs a studio in Nashville. Mostly session stuff - Josh Freese, for the music fans in the thread. But yes, he's worked with Taylor. A couple of non single tracks or something. About 8 people have input to her songs these days.

I can categorically say, though, that I have absolutely zero connection to U2, Queen or any of the other big stadium rock bands.
A mate knows Apache Indian, though.

Nice. I've seen him with Offspring and NIN. He's also toured with Pink and a few others. Absolute pro, yet hardly anyone knows who the fuck he is. But he is usually an upgrade on whatever drummer is available.

He's a great drummer. If you own any big 'alternative' albums from the 2000s onwards, chances are you've heard his work, even if you don't know his name!

Fairly sure he's stood in for Tool a few times as well. The royalties he must be getting are insane.

He was a member of A Perfect Circle, featuring Maynard from Tool; not sure whether he ever played for Tool proper, but you may well be right.
Back on topic, it seems as though Scalia will be a key player where the 14th Amendment situation is concerned. Which... yeah. Not what you'd call ideal, unless you were being sarcastic.

(Or is it a different Scalia? Or just his originalist interpretations of the constitution?)

A Perfect Circle were a phenomenal band in their own right, the "Supergroup" tag was bollocks imo

Definitely were a supergroup. They were good at it but it was 100% a supergroup.

It's almost as if there's a clear mental health epidemic going on in that country that has never been addressed apart from just releasing more and more medication without the aftercare while at the same time spreading lies so cynically, the same very lies that are treated with earnest by those very people with severe mental health issues and acting shocked when those very people act upon those conspiracies. My girlfriend's a nurse and recently got back from her first trip to the US, New York specifically. She had a great time, but she was was really bothered by what appeared to be a high number of people with various mental issues, wandering around often appearing quite vulnerable without any help or support. NY is iconic, a prime beacon of a western civilisation, but she often found it a disturbing place to be. A place where it was painfully obvious that if you had no material wealth or fell on hard times, you had zero value to society.

A place where it was painfully obvious that if you had no material wealth or fell on hard times, you had zero value to society. This has been my experience of all US cities I've been to and not just NY. There is always a strong connection between homelessness, mental health and drug abuse. There are shelters and charities around that assist, but I doubt they have the medical expertise (or the resources) available to actually really get people the help they need. That is the sort of assistance that can only really be provided by the state.

We don't have the number 1 cause of bankruptcies in the US as a thing - medical bills!!!
Which can affect anybody... From there it is a spiral down...

Filling in? He’s a fully paid up member of the band. I would have thought he’d at least have run the script of this reveal sketch by you, what with your journalism background
