Don't say gay! Be a hypocrite! www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-67706835A republican not doing as they say others should do in the bedroom. What a surprise. At this rate, I the odds have to be reasonably high that at some point in the future it'll be revealed that DeSantis has been hooking up with some dude for years.

Heh 😆 I thought this would be the case when I heard him talk to the media after the first hearing Giuliani sued again by election workers over latest false claims www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67756377The daft bugger repeated the libel on the steps of the court 😂

It will go to the Supreme Court, and fuckface appointed the majority of them. Sooo good luck with that going anywhere. Unless a load of other states follow Colorado of course. Here's hoping ✌️🎅

Couldn't people just write his name on the ballot anyway? That's a thing that America does, right?

iirc it's only for the Colorado primary.
Though I have no idea how much Primaries are federal/state legal things, and how much they're internal party things.

Here's hoping ✌️🎅 A third of them (3/9), though it's still majority conservative (6/9) and two of the Bush appointees are complete nutters, so that's just nitpicking. In theory the Republicans are supposed to be all about "states' rights", but it's not like raging hypocrisy ever stopped them before. iirc it's only for the Colorado primary. Though I have no idea how much Primaries are federal/state legal things, and how much they're internal party things. If it stands it would disqualify him from the actual election as well. If it's just Colorado it won't matter much since it's a blue state. It could get interesting if battleground states like Georgia (where he's charged with conspiracy to unlawfully change the election result) end up following suit though.

Then the X on the ballot sheet means all votes are for him.

If only the democrats had someone competent that wasn’t 90% likely to die while in office if they get reelected, it should be an easy election win then.

And isn't brown. Or a woman. And isn't below 50 or above 60. And doesn't come from California. And hates gay and trans people. And loves guns and money. And hates foreign people. They should also despise the homeless but says America should look after its own.
I think that's it. The perfect candidate.

Someone else that’s a democrat and isn’t Hilary. Ok cool, so you don't know who. Like, yeah, it's shitty that the best hope the democrats have for beating an old white guy, is the slightly older white guy who beat him last time. But his VP is a charisma vacuum, and nobody else is stepping up. Biden is all they have. So unless the democrats actually want Trump to win they should stop being absolute babies, stop bitching and whining about their guy and get on board. If they want their circular firing squad they can wait until Trump is dead and/or in jail.

(that's not directed at people here, I'm just pretty frustrated with democrats doing their best to sabotage themselves)

If they want their circular firing squad they can wait until Trump is dead and/or in jail. You want me to name who their candidate should be? They have a huge party, none of who will step forward while he’s running for his second term so it could be literally any of them. No one has been working in building their profile because they know he’s running. No Democrat is going to hand a victory over to Trump over it but he isn’t exactly a candidate people are going to be inspired to go and vote for.

It is a bit odd that Biden seems to be their only option, when all they really need is any regular non-controversial democrat.
I guess it's a symptom of modern life that they only people on either side who have much of a profile are the more controversial ones.
But they could probably have picked anyone beige and a bit younger. Probably too late now though.

Biden is extremely experienced and effective at getting stuff done. He got through a great deal of legislation and funding despite razor thin margins in the houses.
He's not actually a doddering old fool.
