I do need to lose some weight. I was actually doing quite well exercising and being mindful of what I was eating but four weeks of being too ill to exercise properly and Christmas indulgence have messed that up.

My wifes' resting face has her staring at my gut, usually with a look of contempt. So yeah, need to lose the gut in 2022...somehow.

Weight loss is the goal for me too, as well as increasing my cardio fitness.
We'll do it folks, this year's the one

Kick the fags off for good would be nice, get the house into a sellable condition would be good too. And other things.

After 1.5 years of exercise a six-pack for this summer is within reach, so that’s definitely on the cards. I can already feel the bulges under the still too thick layer of fat.
I’d like to start a new business, if I can come up with something. And close the one I’m running now, 10 years is more than enough.

I'm going Raw Veganuary. Not booze and no spliffs. The nearer it comes the more I'm dreading ever saying it.

I would like to actually try and get a bit more in shape.
Don't really care if I have a 6 pack or are ripped, not really something I aspire to but would gladly lose a few inches from my gut.
Just need to stop regularly drinking imperial strength stouts and porters, and do a bit more exercise *or* keep drinking and do a fair bit more exercise. Not sure which I find less appealing.
Maybe I should just switch to gin and vodka for a few months, should be less calorific.

My days of six packs are behind me, but I already exercise plenty.
My resolution is to stop messing around and learn Spanish properly, with a side order of getting paid better at some point next year. Those two things are unrelated, though.

I did the 6 pack thing, lost 8kg, got pretty ripped with a personal trainer etc. lasted until October when depression hit and I have put back on 6kg and ruined it all.
Aim for 2022 is restart that, and do 3 sober days a week, with no binge drinking days.

I'm quitting the sauce. I'm dependant so I have to taper down over a weekish, starting today. Got a plan, got distractions and got nytol, just need that willpower to hold up

That's my plan as well. I received a few bottles of various beers for xmas so I'm planning on having one a night until New Years Eve, then just quitting cold turkey.
I'd also like to get in shape, but I feel not drinking is an easier goal to attain. Also, I'll lose a few lbs from the lack of beer alone.

I was already on a but of a fitness kick but like an enormous cliche I’ve just booked an official place in a half marathon for the first time ever. Although its not til October so I’ll probably do another before then.
I’m also lying to myself that I will clear my Playstation Pile of Shame before I buy anymore new games.
I should really start trying to socialise again too. Pandemic is broadly on the wane as a deadly force, the kid isn’t a literal baby anymore, I have far fewer evening work commitments now. Almost no excuse not to see friends next year.

I want to level up quite a few things in my life. New Year is as good a time as any to give it a go. Would like to sort out our side return extension, so I can upgrade the cinema/gaming situation and find a spot for a piano (to get back into music); actually do something about my career; get some kind of domestic help (nanny/housekeeper) in prep for having kids in school (this links to career - at moment I do most of the house work while wife is the career bod, I would like to progress a bit more, so less household stress wld be nice).

I need to get rid of quite a few inches from around the gut. Bought a road bike in 2020 and a Wahoo Core last year but rarely used them in 2020 so have the equipment and just need to get off my arse.
Also want to shift the habit of staying up til 2-3am and then being tired and moody all day.

I'm going to become a Pitmaster and serve all my food in Styrofoam boxes filled with parsley.

Also want to shift the habit of staying up til 2-3am and then being tired and moody all day. I ended up in a job where I was too tired to stay up late. Honest to god, if you can manage to get to bed about 9ish there's nothing better than waking up the next morning having had massive amounts of sleep.
