In here you can complain about your terrible RNG drops, Bungie's continuous screw ups, and LFG randoms who AFK while you are trying to clear a GM.
Also tell me what is the clan to join, because the Euroghosts one is basically a graveyard at this point, true to its name.

Is crossplay working across the board now? UK Nightfall Raiders was my clan, I don't actually play anymore but the clan is still going strong.

In that case I recommend checking it out, it's a PlayStation clan but that shouldn't be an issue anymore. They're a great bunch and tend to organise raids every week. Word around is that the next season will most likely be tied to the Dreaming City and the Scorn (as Quria was the one keeping the loop going, so now it should be broken... in theory).
If you ask me, chances are that they want to tie up the Curse storyline and both the Fanatic and the Spider's roles in the story, so they can vault the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City next.

Yep I'd be amazed if that wasn't the case, although it will be a real shame to lose the Dreaming City. I feel as though if they are going with Old Chicago as rumoured, cutting the EDZ would make a little more sense.

I seriously doubt they're going to Vault more locations, they mentioned the game size question but honestly I don't think that's a genuine concern. The more likely reason they vaulted stuff is because around the launch of Beyond Light they overhauled their physics host code and made a lot of content's scripting incompatible with the game. The stuff that got vaulted was the stuff that they didn't convert to working with it, largely because it was content that wasn't get played much anyway. It's a lot of work to convert stuff, as seen by Prophecy going away for 3 months while they fixed it up, and the myriad bugs that were introduced in the process to it and stuff like Last Wish.
The Dreaming City and Tangled Shore are already fully updated to work with the new physics host; so I can't imagine them going in the Vault. There's no real need.

Let's face it, DC had a lot of issues that have never been solved. Only one transmat point, farming dark fragments for the Blind Well was a pain, and its relevance to the story has been nil since the end of the first Forsaken season (that's almost three years ago) and nobody likes the Corrupted strike. You used to need to go there to get your third subclass powers, but now they are unlocked from the start too. Altars of Sorrow has basically replaced Blind Well as the public coop activity of choice. And even the reissued weapons have been half-assed.
The Tangled Shore has seen more use, plus there are two strikes in it, so maybe they will keep it around and only vault the Dreaming City. But at this point I think we're due a change in scenery, and the Fanatic and the Spider have played out their role.

In other news, I did a few Battlegrounds last night to try and get a decent Imperial Needle for GMs next season. Fuck me they are dull. At least Override is over quickly. The economy for Umbrals last season was dreadful too: the 5 charge engrams gave you a 50% chance of the gun you want, so you're screwed if you don't get it. Or you just spend 5 charges on 5 weapon focuses and at least get materials if you get the wrong gun.
Luckily after 4 BGs worth of farming I got one to drop from the waepons engram with Arrowhead/Enhanced Battery/Rapid Hit/Vorpal, which while not the Clown Cart/Auto Loading one I hoped for is more than good enough for me to not bother farming any more of the tedious BGs.

 This should do nicely for anti barrier in GMs next season. One For All and Frenzy are top tier damage perks for hard content since stuff like Rampage doesn't proc anywhere near as reliably. These perks have near constant uptime. |

The new TWAB has quite a bit of info. Primary ammo is now infinite, some weapons got buffed, others nerfed, mah boi Arbalest is getting an anti-barrier mod in a future update... Also a leak confirmed that we are getting Mara Sov next week, in Season of the Lost. |

Very happy with infinite ammo, it's always been a pain in the arse for SMGs with low capacity.
Curious to see what they do with the next season to keep it interesting until the expansion hits... It's going to be a long slog!

Tbf I never cared much about Mara, she's the kind of character I disike. But maybe we'll get some closure about the Fanatic too.
The next Nightfall will be Hollowed Lair, so Scorn champions are basically confirmed. Not exactly looking forward to Overload Chieftains spamming tethers.

When was Hollowed Lair a GM? I'm pretty sure it was never in the Ordeal playlist. I remember I had to LFG with randoms, back when Nightfalls were still available on rotation, to farm it for the Mindbender shotgun.

Pretty sure Bungie has talked about Scorn champs this season, in relation to artifact mods
Managed to achieve my end of season goals yesterday. Finally got me a seal in the form of Splicer. Grinding Overide for data to get last gauntlet upgrade was a chore. If only I’d not focused so many engrams at the start.
Then I reset Infamy. Just kept failing to play enough on increased weeks so was a bit of a job to get those last wins. I still love Gambit, my favorite PvP mode easily. I don’t think I got mire than four ranks in Crucible this season. There’s just something about waiting for an invader to round the corner with a super only to get twatted by my waiting Falling Guillotine. Always a rush

Not much help to you now but the easiest data farm was Expunge Corrupted Tartarus, which has an easy skip in it that means you could get 75 data in 4 minutes for each corrupted key you had.
Cross play launches this week. How many of us are there in here? Who wants to raid?

Lots of new info during the stream. As I expected, one season for six months was simply not enough - so we gotta pay for an extra content drop. It does look interesting though. Maybe I'll chuck my spare silver their way.
And I don't know what will happen after the end of the Darkness and Light saga, but I imagine we'll still be fighting Fallen variants, Hive reskins, the same Vex and Cabal, and maybe Scorn if people don't hate them too much.

Yeah, lots of info and the leaks seemed to be spot on from what I hear (held off on looking at them myself)
Weapon crafting will be cool if it's not ridiculously convoluted (which of course it will be, this is Bungie!)
Crossplay is live today, which is nice.
