Witch Queen is also up for grabs on Steam. The deluxe edition is... more expensive than I thought. It's a bit annoying that they seem to be locking two dungeons specifically behind the Deluxe edition. That must be why it's more expensive than usual, it costs 80 euro.
And the Bungie pack is a whopping 25 euro by itself. Don't think I have enough silver for that. Thought it would be 10 euro like any other seasons.

I definitely don't feel the need to pre-order the deluxe edition again. Chances are I'll wait until the game is out and see what the campaign is like. Them bigging it up and comparing it to Halo, Titanfall etc is plain laughable. I guarantee it'll be an hour of actual content stretched out with fetch quests as usual.
Or hopefully MS will chuck it on gamepass again and I can just play story stuff on the console.

I wonder how much stuff will be locked behind the expansion, and how much behind seasons. Beyond Light was pretty thin on content and you could play almost everything just with the season passes (and well, there was Game Pass anyway). Something tells me they are gonna shift that balance a bit.
Anyway, I thought about picking up the Deluxe edition, but maybe I'll just pick up the regular game, and then get the various seasons if/when they look interesting enough. Assuming it doesn't come to Game Pass again.

The season outline is also up and it looks exactly like the past season, which doesn't make me all that excited tbf. My first impressions are that I'll be happy to play this seasonal a lot more than the last. It's a bit more open and the Dreaming City is always a pleasure to do stuff in.
The story stuff has really come into its own these last 3 or so seasons.

New activity seems better than Override at least. Still can't get behind the story, especially since we already know that Savathun will be hostile in the next DLC and I have no idea why Mara Sov just randomly reappared from her two years vacation and nobody is having any questions about that. I'm curious to see what is the Scorn's role in all this. It would be about time we saw the Fanatic again, especially since this season involves Uldren.
Guess I can throw 1000 silver their way. And now I must choose if I want to spend my remaining 1300 silver on ornaments and Ghosts, or save it for the next season. Again.

Yeah it's a pretty crumby way of extending the season out to February really. Don't like where they are going with the Dungeons behind further paywalls either.

I’m not sure that I woulda got back into Destiny if not for myvSteam account. My pc is a decade old -which stings - and is pawned my Xbox so not played for a while
Having it all under the Add To Account button got me going. That I can do the same with each seasons’ silver bundle is icing
Glad that I did get back into it. The last season was good story. And beautiful. The Vex Overide and Expunges were just a delight to play through aesthetically; appreciating views right to the last day.
The beauty of the environments doesn’t get enough credit. Sure, the gun play is perfection but without those artistically rich settings I think we’d tire of the repetition much quicker

At least the seasonal currency comes from everything now (unless I'm missing something and there's some kind of catch). 88 for a heroic public event, and I love the loop of hopping around the map doing PEs for some reason. It seems like a fairly heavily story loaded season so far, which is always nice. khanivor - yeah, say what you like about the actual content but the visual and audio design is always absolutely top notch. |

I got a ton of weapons done when I was grinding catalysts or IB/ritual bounties.
I wonder how many I'd need for gilding though. Aside from trace rifles, mine are all gilded already.

GMG has a decent offer on Witch Queen... there's 20% off all editions with a coupon. I doubt it will get much lower before launch, so I might jump on the Deluxe edition. Not very interested in the Bungie pack, at least not at that price.
