No Goldeneye. Turns out it was primarily an issue with MGM not wanting to republish that game.

Bit of a crock to bring in online+. I wonder how much the extra cost will be, I would love to be able to play F-Zero again. Did you see this recent f-zero mini-doc by digital foundry? youtu.be/0T1O2zPrBs0

The whole thing is kind of pointless without Goldeneye.

Banjo Kazooie is in there though, so there's genuinely a decent chance at seeing more Rare titles. I wonder if the price increase has more to do with paying Sega and Microsoft for their licences.

Keen to see how they've adapted Disco to the smaller screen. I wonder if they will be offering the adapted UI for PC, so it can be used with the Deck when it comes out. Was also tempted to double dip, as I haven't gotten around to the Director's Cut yet. I also technically didn't buy the PC version, as it was a gift from a friend. I would want to wait to see how they adapt it though. Highly recommended to anyone that hasn't played it yet. Fantastic game. One of my favourites from the past few years.

Fantastic game it is too. Playing Rare Replay Perfect Dark and the aiming is a fucking nightmare so I dread to think what OG Goldeneye would be like now. That said, imagine how many 30 and 40 somethings that would go out and buy a switch if they had the chance to play a revised goldeneye online with their mates.. Licence to print money. As for the Mario movie, it just sounds like an absolute mess of the best kind. I've got a 6 year old and he'll lose his shit at that.

Castlevania advance was something I hoped for when the first castlevania collection was released

Castlevania advance collection looks like something that should be part of the new tier of online subscription.
I'll probably still cave eventually and add it to my neverending backlog...

Good that it's released on steam as well. I like the synergy between the PC and the Switch.

I get the Goldeneye nostalgia, but you probably don't want to play it now. It's... rough.

Wait ... so this passed me by, they're releasing a version of KOTOR on Switch, not related to the more recently announced remake?

Like most N64 games - as nice as it would be to have OoT on the Switch, I'd rather not have the 20fps version of it. Although F-Zero X would be very sweet indeed.

Thought this as well as there are the 3DS remakes of Ocarina and Majora's Mask. I'd rather have those. A collection with WW would be nice

But remaking it, they are? Hmmm? Maybe there's no chance of the remake running on Switch so they're doing a port of the original instead

Anyone else played the new Monkey Ball yet. It's good. The physics feel spot on in story mode. But the camera feels a bit off. Mostly when tilting forward. It's difficult to see what's ahead. I don't remember that on GC.

RE: the Kotor port. I'd still be quite interested to see how a port of the original turns out. Last time I tried to get it running and appropriately modded up to play on a modern PC monitor, it was a real bollock.

The Android version was OK. Played it briefly on my Shield TV. I'd imagine the switch one will just be a port of that so hard to go wrong with it tbh.

I'm wondering what the deal is with the latest 4K/DLSS Switch rumours. Apparently it could be out as soon as late next year, which would pretty much guarantee that BotW2 is a launch title for it (not to mention make the OLED even more of an unnecessary purchase at this stage).

I don't remember that on GC. I was going to order, but a lot of reviews mentioned the physics not being quite right. Now I've not been proficient at Monkey Ball in so long that I'm not sure how much it would matter, but launching off a ramp in Monkey Target definitely looked weird.

The challenge mode (the original game levels) feels fine. Although it all feels a bit more twitchy which I assume is due to 'better' controllers.
Monkey Target doesn't feel right at all.

Depends on whether the OLED model phases out the original. I have this fear if a 4K model comes out next year, it'll only be a year before the next gen machine. Like they did with the DSi and 3DS. The DSi rolled out features like the cameras and an online store. Things that would become the backbone of the 3DS models.

Nintendo really should look at porting Kid Icarus Uprising to the Switch. That was a great game ruined by the awful controls. I got quite far but never finished it because playing it was physically painful
The Wii U Star Fox game as well. From what I heard about it, the main issue was controls (again)
I want to play a shooter

In an odd way, the touch screen aiming worked well. Its just using touch screen controls and buttons is quite difficult and using an analog stick would require the game's speed and difficulty be lowered.
