It looks like Immortals Fenix Rising. What actually made Dragon Age special was its writing, so unless that part is strong, it’s a “wait till it’s on GamePass/PS+” title for me.

From a visual perspective, I agree with the Immortals reference 100%; gameplay-wise, though, it seems more akin to Dragon's Dogma/Shadow of the Colossus (i.e. scaling massive beasts and sticking pointy implements into their weak spots).
In terms of Dragon Age, I've only played Inquisition, which I liked a lot.

Yeah, that’s actually how I described it in the EG and YT comments. Immortals + Dogma. But I can only take so many open world fantasy action games at one time, so it needs something to make a stand out. Storytelling and characters would go a long way for me.

That batman game looked good, way better than gotham knights and S. squad shite we got
I quite like this comment from CDPR
CD Projekt exec pokes fun at Ubisoft's "AAAA" game Skull and Bones, says the studio will now make "AAAAA" games
One thing, games need to evolve more in game design and AI and not just better graphics.

Ubisoft is not just delisting and turning servers off for the crew, they are deleting it from people's game library. I read on PC there is offline mode that ubisoft never activated, from what I played of the game it can be played offline fine. Like the recent forza motorsport, its always online for no reason
Ubisoft must be laughing at the weak minded gamer that is doing their job and defending it, while its just "the crew" its just the tip of something the game industry wants to do. Sure EA and 2k would love to do it with their games

I am so used to quick resume and playing almost instantly that I just can't play anything where it forces me to go online every time. I had a go at Diablo which forced me to make an account, then be online, for no reason whatsoever. I enjoyed the opening cinematic mind you but thats in the bin.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 reveal today ? I want to love the first game having tried and tried it and I will no doubt try again. I hope 2 (if indeed it is to be 2) is just a little more forgiving.

Moon Studio's (Ori and the Blind Forest / Will of the Wisps) new game No Rest For The Wicked is looking actually amazing, there's a Digital Foundry first look that just looks lush, and I'll be keeping an eye on this.
It's the first new game in a very long time that's really piqued my interest tbh.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is still in development it seems (new screenshots). Hope they get this over the line as I really liked the original! telltale.com/the-wolf-among-us-2/

Has anyone downloaded the demo for Europa? I'm honestly quite impressed. It has a sort of Zelda/Ghibli feel.

Yeah actually it's a bit like Journey. I forgot about that game.. basically walking/floating about, collecting items, with a great soundtrack. Nice and relaxing.

I came to post about it in the early access thread but did a quick search first. I'm not sure how replayable it'll be so while I would like to dip in, I feel it's probably not right as an EA game and I might be missing out on later fixes.

Really excited to see Steamworld Heist 2 announced.
I adored the first one and actually prefer it to the Dig games (which were excellent in their own right).

@crashv👀d👀
That's my thought too, I think if I got it now I'm unsure exactly how much I'll be invested once it's complete.
But definitely something I'll be keeping an eye on

Europa is in that category of Sunday morning with a cup of coffee kind of games for me. I'll be keen to see more.
Tried Antonblast as well, essentially Pizza Tower in all but name. I thought it looked like unashamed rip off but apparently both devs are friends and naturally something like this can't be just made within a year of Pizza Towers release. It's good, but I don't quite know if it's for me yet.
Also keen to try Stitch. Picross but stitchwork seems pretty fun to me

I gave the Europa demo a try during Steam's nextfest. Looks nice but not really a fan of collectathons so doubt it'll be for me unless there's more to it

Looking at major game releases coming up and I am kind of thankful there is nothing I am interested in until Star Wars Outlaws.
Gives the wallet a break for a few months and hopefully actually complete a few games!

The release schedule for the second half of 2024 is looking a trifle barren at present, although I'm sure not-E3 season will fill in a lot of the blanks.
I'm currently looking at System Shock in May, Outer Wilds in June, then a whole lot of nothing!
I think The Stanley Parable is coming to PS5 in July, but I'm not at all sure it's my bag - more the type of game I'd admire from afar than play for myself (see also: Disco Elysium).
Alternatively, if the Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 rumours turn out to be true, I could do a lot worse than pick those up in July. They should tide me over for a while.

The Stanley Parable is out is it not? I own it.
Oh wait that's probably the PS4 version. Can't see how much better a PS5 version will be. Some of these upgrades are a bit pointless.

Outer Wilds and The Stanley Parable are both out on PS4 and PS5 already, but not in retail form (to the best of my knowledge).
Being a disc-purchasing dinosaur, I've been waiting for the physical version of the former for bloody ages.
