Yep. On the third page.
I'm nothing if not predictable.

Somebody definitely mentioned Alpha Protocol.
I don't remember what, if anything they wanted done to the game. A bit less jank would be enough for me.

Has anyone said Power Stone in this thread? I want more of that. I know that arena beat em ups are now legally required to be Exactly Like Smash Bros but with even more cross-promotional branding (woah! BATMAN IS FIGHTING BUGS BUNNY), but Power Stone didn't give a shit about any of that. And unlike Smash, it wasn't weirdly complicated either. Damn, that's a great shout.

Giantbombs recent "play it forward" of AP has made me want to play it again.
Annoying it wasn't made BC and Sega don't want to do anything with the IP.

It's the best James Bond game there never was.

I'd like a remaster/remake of Project Gotham Racing 3, The Suffering, Banjo & Kazooie and Metrocross.
No doubt I have a few others, but they spring to mind.

I’d love a new version of Panzer Dragoon Saga. The mechanics were incredibly simple by JRPG standards, but honestly I didn’t mind that one bit. So few people really got to play it and it still has a special place on my heart.
Do another RPG based around the sub game from Orta too. That had actual emotional heft and I hate that the stories from that world have been banished to the gaming archives of dorks like me.

Seeing Shadowman on the PS store recently reminded me of my initial disappointment in this re-release (or whatever it is). I want a shiny new remake please, loved that game on original release (the level where you're hunting a serial killer in a dilapidated house still evokes strong memories now), I imagine it would look incredible (and creepy as fuck) if rebuilt now.
Amazing, had no idea this was a thing, thanks!

The crash cars game, which was a side thing in another game, where you had to get the most points, er, for crashing into things.
The. Best. Time. Waster. Ever.

I’ve probably said it but a remaster of Vagrant Story would go down a treat.

Yeah I never got to appreciate Vagrant Story. I only got to it as a PS Classic on the PSP and it’s the sort of game where an actual paper manual would really have helped me out.

On that note - basically all of Bullfrog’s outstanding back catalogue. Bullfrog did a manual like no other.

I actually can't think of that many. Several of my old favorites are games that I'm not sure I'd want remade. Maybe remastered if it was entirely graphical.
My main ones would be ones they already announced (but then seemingly fubared): Prince of Persia - Sands of time KotOR 1 and 2.
And the probably incoming Ocarina of Time for the Switch. That and Thief 1-3 and Deus Ex 1.
I really can't decide on Jedi Knight. I feel like if they remastered it they'd end up changing too much stuff. So maybe I'll just stick with the graphics mods. Maybe AvP?

Super Metroid in the Dread engine. Same music, same layout, but new visuals and slick controls.

Slightly different. But I would just like a follow up to this!
My guess is they decided to do a game based on each Horsemen then wanted to continue from this point before the original THQ died.

I'm also pretty sure that I already said something like that some pages ago, but just making sure that perfectly functional games are still available would be a good start: Alpha Protocol and Cryostasis are the first ones that come to mind.
But Deadly Premonition could actually need some kind of Remaster that includes a fully functional PC port.

Kotaku and Eurogamer are both reporting that the group that bought all those properties off Square are real interested in remakes, among other things.
I don't know whether Embracer bought it alongside the other IPs - and it doesn't need a remake or remaster, having already been ported from PS3 to PS4 - but I always thought Sleeping Dogs deserved a sequel.

Probly come up before but The Darkness. I was reminded of it's unique blend of horror and WWI setting while looking at the new Amnesia game. Also, it's stuck on last-last gen consoles and that is... not good.

The Darkness really stuck with me, and those sections in particular. Death Stranding has sections that are very reminiscent of that.
Weirdly, I never played the sequel.

The sequel was probably a better game mechanically and had a few cool moments, but lost much of what made the original such a singular experience. The developer (Starbreeze) jumped ship along with most of the voice cast, and the unique look of the original was scrapped in favour of a cartoony cel-shaded look. As a result the storytelling and atmosphere took a huge hit. That it got a PC version while the first game did not really just rubs salt in the wound.

Yeah I didn't really enjoy the sequel really. The original was one of my first next gen games after getting a 360 and I honestly I was blown away by the visuals and just the immersiveness of it all.

Didn't The Darkness include an entire public domain film that you could sit and watch during the game?
There are a considerable amount of films in the public domain, like Night of the Living Dead so in theory you could make an incredibly low-budget game all about sitting around on a couch watching films (maybe hook it into a streaming service) and ordering pizza etc. And become biggest indie-hipster-wanker of all time.
Kojima then comes along and makes a game about sitting on a couch playing games. Forget moral choice systems, will you choose Cheetos or Doritos?

Think both are cheap on Xbox right now.
Really enjoyed the first and enjoyed the 2nd. Sucks we never got a 3rd.

I know, but DP is different enough. With added annoyances, weird design, underwhelming gameplay. Still.
