Bit late, but happy New Necromunda Day everyone.
Aesthetic misgivings aside, I’m quite looking forward to giving the 2-player campaign a go.

I've pre-ordered the new Legions Imperialis book. I kinda also want the new Necromunda stuff but I'm aggressively out of date at this point.
This trend for refusing to release rules without miniatures is infuriating. We all knew there'd be rules for Shadowswords, Stormswords and the other one. You could have just released a fucking unit listing book on day 1, and not drip fed £30 hardback books with rules for 3-4 units plus some special stuff like campaign rules and then fluff. It feels like the campaign rules n shit are about as well play-tested and of the same quality of things in Citadel Journal back in the day.
Old World and Blood Bowl are the only OK ones. New teams are in Spike, they release an annual every year compiling all the issues of Spike. Job done.
Old World there's 1 rulebook. Then army listings with everything that will be released in the future, that everyone knew was coming anyway. Then you can pay for an optional slim paperback of cool interesting variations for your particular army plus some extra fluff. Just do that for all the other things that are "Specialist Games". Necromunda rules are spread across so many out of print hard back books it's insane. FUCK EPUB.

Absolutely agree. I tend to pick up all the books and supplements for their various games as they're released because you don't know how long they're going to stay in print, but the likes of Necromunda, Adeptus Titanicus, War Cry, Middle Earth and Legions Imperialis have got so many bloody books that it gets hard to keep track of exactly what rules are in what book. I've also got piles of obsolete books in the garage.
We've seen a number of compendiums for the above games over the years, but they tend to only compile the previous few books. I'd really welcome a definitive rules compendium for each of the specialist games that cuts out all the fluff and just provides the rules and unit information from each book, from the very first relevant release up to now.
It'll never happen though, which is why the likes of Wahapedia, Necroraw, Warcrier, Epicheresy and Prancingponypub have become such indispensable resources to the community. GW should just straight up copy these as almost everyone would prefer to use an official source than some (potentially) dodgy Russian website.

It's kind of baffling that they've managed to do it for Old World and AoS...

Best news about these new BA models is the multi-pose aspect.

If anyone’s been after some, it looks like the gold dust-esque Zone Mortalis columns and walls are back in stock at various online places. Just grabbed a couple more for my Necromunda collection.

It's good that they give you helmets as options, because I don't like how this modeled hair looks. Space Marines without helmets is kind of silly anyway.

That hairstyle is modelled after Roman statues, who modelled from the Ultramarines.

I am a bit jelly of that medic. It looks like it takes cues from the Apothecary Biologis but it’s so much cooler looking with a sword rather than a big thermos flask.

I can’t be bothered linking, it’s all at the Community site or if you prefer midlands based AI, at Auspex Tactics, but there’s some things and some stuff coming to pre-order this weekend for 40K.
Chiefly, the Inquisitorial battle forces, but they are also joined by a combat patrol, which I’m half considering.
Also that Sisters individual model with the silly flaming sword, re-releases of all the assassins (now with an extra 25 per cent RRP!) and that priest/bishop bloke and the Navigator.
There’s also some news about Deathwatch points which has gone down like a lead balloon as well as some consignments to legends in the same faction.

Yeah the Combat Patrol is tempting to get all those Arbites, so's the Ordo Heretricus one for my Sisters. As I'd like more of the odd stuff like Arbites. They all come with some duplication though as I've got all the Blackstone Fortress minis and load of Sisters, not sure I really need 2 Immolator tanks (plus the stained glass is a pain in the arse to paint).

Absolutely gutted tonight and any advice would be appreciated.
I have 2x Blood Angels Combat Patrols.
I’ve been on an absolute mission to build the two boxes whilst the good weather is out and I’ve now got built and primed 2 librarians (giving one to a mate), 2 intercessor squads, an infiltrator squad, an incursor squad, 6 Aggressors, and 1 Impulsor.
All I have left to do is finish my second Impulsor.
But I’ve fucking lost something. Part number 30, to be precise, of which there are three. They are the ‘teeth’ on the hover pad but at the front under the nose. I saw it drop as I was trimming from the sprue, thought ‘I’ll get that in a second’, trimmed and secured the other two and started looking. It’s like it’s evaporated. After tea, I’ve been in, fully moved the table and chairs out after first fully tidying and inventorying the table top. I’ve turned the rug under the table, moved it out, scoured the floor underneath, the bottom of the rug and the top, and cleaned and hoovered everything. It isn’t there.
I’m honestly wondering if the dog would eat it.
But what the hell do I do about getting this one part? I’m the type that would rather throw away the model rather than have it look wrong.
And I’m sh*t at sculpting, so I can’t make one out of greenstuff.
Said it before and will say it again, I hate building.

Tried looking on bits and kits? They sell individual parts. I'm on hobby hiatus but sympathise. Lost a few bits to the old 'will pick that up in a second' and then vanished. I've bought individual parts from them before.

Why greenstuff? Such simple parts can be built out of cardboard. Or is there some elaborate design on the other side?

Sadly no. It’s the three vertical ‘teeth’ in between those resin bits, on my screenshot it’s the part labelled 30.

Check the dog poop for the next 48 hours? That's not being digested! Looks like this is the way. zagibu - I get it but I don’t really want cardboard on an expensive model I’ll put hours into painting. I may reach out to GW customer service, but not hopeful.

Make a new one out of plasticard. If you have the others, take very accurate dimensions, including thickness, and make up a copy. If you can get dimensions I would have a go making it for you
