Firstly, youtu.be/_-QNoeWAyWo?si=V6GUSAARHymz0HchIn my 3K Tyranid list this has now left a big hole. Think it might be Mawloc shaped due to rule of cool. Secondly, getting a bit twitchy bum over an Element Games order. I ordered twice on the same day with two different payment methods, one being Klarna. The Klarna order is only showing in the app and the only confirmation I have in email form is from Klarna. Contains a new spray handle which I was really hoping would arrive tomorrow…can’t ring until 10am. It contains Sisters pre-order items (the new CP) so am hoping that might be involved…although my other order is all pre-orders too. |

Apologies for the consecutive posts.
Any fellow hobbyists have experience with flight stands?
I have Inceptors, jump Intecessors and a bunch of flying sisters on the way.
I’m thinking paint the models and base and glue the stands later.
So specifically my question is does anybody have a specific, UK available glue product that won’t melt or cloud the acrylic. An Amazon link would be amazing.
TIA - I hope.
Also cleared up the Element order. Apparently a Klarna glitch where it doesn’t reconcile the email. It’s on its way. Phew.

Well on my day off I’ve managed to finish one sole model.  Elected against painting eyes in the end. I don’t think it’s needed. Particularly happy with the cloak - tutorial from Tabletop Ready (Youtube) who I previously recommended:  Used to struggle tremendously with cloaks when I was doing Stormcast, trying shades and drybrushing and all sorts. This is just done with glazing two darker shades into recesses, blending back a bit with glazes of the original colour and then a simple highlight at the end, and it works superbly IMO. Feels like something has been unlocked. |

Just been watching Ash’s reviews of Skaventide with my coffee and Spearhead sounds very cool. Really looking forward to playing that. Seems much better thought out than Combat Patrol.

Not sure these when these will get used in a game of Old World but they'll get used for something on the table at some point for sure!

Don’t think I’ll be working at this intensity again but I’ve basically felt crap all weekend and was determined to achieve something. So I did the bio-plasmic dog’s lipstick cannon last night and then have spent basically nearly all of today from about 11 am painting the rest of this Exocrine. It’s been really good going back to the Tyranids, it’s such a more natural method of painting than I use on the marines.   Of course something had to go wrong and my matte sealant spray for the base material is somewhere in the aetherium. It must have been accidentally thrown out, and now everything on there is held on by prayer and hope. Having bad luck with the ‘nids at the mo as I’ve also lost my Tervigon base so that’ll be a fiver to replace too. In other news, took delivery of the Sisters battle force and the codexes for them and GSC yesterday, both lovely books and of course completely out-of-date already, but they are entertaining reads and are pretty. My other order is still MIA. |

Thank you very much. I really enjoyed doing the gun, there are in fact 4 shades of red, nuln and a grey contrast on that plus the highlight colour. Good to know it’s not wasted time lol, hairdryer was working overtime! |

Since all the rules changes I now have a hole in my Nids collection I want to fill with a Mawloc - but they are 55 quid with postage and guess what - yup I’d want a can of wraithbone spray too. Royal Mail won’t post cans either so add courier postage as well. I return to my idea of a priming service 😂 |

zagibuDon’t know how it’s a waste when they are the best chapter. Also replace any descriptors like ‘skill’ with ‘child who now ignores us so time and obsession’. But I flirted when I was a kid between Space Wolves (mainly because my mate liked them and I was impressionable) and Ultras. If I had to pick another chapter now it would be Blood or Dark Angels. But yeah I always thought the UM hate was just a Reddit meme until I started posting stuff here lol. I’m just basic and like the box art dammit! You could level the same accusation at me for my choice of Hive Fleet too. Guess what Order of Sisters I’ll be doing 😂
