It's ok. It's a modern streaming show so I assume it's only about 4 episodes per season and I can burn through them in an evening or two.

If I get there and the big deal is that Luke shows up then I'm gonna be pissed at you guys though.

First good episode, and yeah you can skip to it if you just want to watch Mando - just skip the recap at the beginning

It’s like the Solo film, they just didn’t come up with much of a story to tell. To then spread that over several hours without making it a lot more interesting was a mistake.

Well, typically going against the grain here but me and my boy are really enjoying it now. We've watched up to the end of Ep4 now so we've just got last nights to go and we're caught up. It's not as good as Mando, but it's perfectly decent. Could quite happily watch a lot more of these.

This weeks is the best so far, excellent, like everyone has already said, its almost like watching a different show

I even liked the little mod gang and their little floating scooters.

I did get confused at two parts on EP4 though, which I think has been spoken about already in here but.. How did Bib betray him exactly? I also thought he had his armour on when he crawled out the Sarlaac pit, so why did he think it was in there?

Chalk me up as someone who's been really digging the show too. I really like Boba and Fennec, I love the wookiee whose name I can't pronounce let alone spell, and yes I love the space mods.

I think the problem with the show thus far has been less the pace but more the structure. I get the idea of having two timelines but for me they've gone too hard with the flashback stuff, to the point where the "present day" plotline has felt perfunctionary. I wish they'd balanced it out more. Hopefully - as we seem to be done with flashbacks now - the last two eps will be a bit more propulsive.

As for ep 5, yes, obviously, it was the best one. I think this was partly because it moved at a fair old lick, and the action scenes were much better (weird how the relatively inexperienced Howard was able to pull off much faster and more interesting action than "Mr Action Movie" Rodriguez). But it's also because we're just more invested in Din and want to know what happens next. I do feel, though, that sticking it in the middle of the season has kind of killed the momentum of Boba Fett; maybe it should have been a kind of special one-shot ep of Mando that aired sometime in March, to whet people's appetite for season 3.

There's little things he's said about being mistreated etc, and about the tuskens were treated that makes me think he's doing it to actually rule benevolently.

I hope ep5 is a sign that perhaps Boba’s ambitions will expand beyond Mos Eisley

Perhaps. With the dual timelines, I hadn’t considered that maybe that’s what he started wanting to do.

In my head, the bid to be crime lord came first, but perhaps not!

Wizard. The pacing in this episode was completely different to the first 4- and the production looked more expensive. Maybe because there was less sand.

I've enjoyed all of Boba Fett so far! is there something wrong with me?
