In Resi 8, I just got the sniper rifle and the big woman chases me a lot. Worth powering up the shotgun/other weapons or best keeping my dosh for later? I made the pistol more powerful. Is money spent on ammo wasted? Yeah I don’t think I bought any ammo at all, all picked up or crafted The first gun (the LEMI?) is pretty poor so as soon as you find the next one sell the first one and keep upgrading the new one instead. Same with the first shotgun, it’s crap, so don’t put much money into it. The second one is good enough for the whole game |

I sold the first handgun and shotgun and have the 2nd ones, should I spend my hundred grand on upgrading everything in them now?
The parts you can add to reduce recoil etc.?

Cheers, just wondered in case there was something I should keep the cash for. Spending spree it is then Hold on, I've only been able to upgrade the power once, to two bars. How can I get past that? |

Either through modifications, or the next time you visit the Duke. Pretty sure I only bothered upgrading power and ammo capacity for most of the weapons.

To be honest I think if you max out your weapons it becomes a bit of a doddle.
You're better off just experimenting with upgrades, you won't encounter anything that's indestructible, provided you don't go mental with the ammo.

Ooh, glad they're free updates. I've still not played the current gen version of DMC5 because that was a separate purchase. At least it's

I really hope if they remade 4, that they make it far less action orientated. I've just killed Salazar and I'm getting a bit burnt out on all the enemies... even with the chainsaw guy, you're loaded to the teeth with weapons, so there's no real threat.

The only issue I have with Capcom with currently, and I understand why things are the way they are, is that they seem extremely reluctant to bring back a lot of their old IP. The fighting game IP especially but that is very much down to the absolute kicking their fighting division received post Street Fighter X Tekken and the absolute botched launch of Sf5. |

Though that's a bigger legal nightmare than Marvel even, since Disney has pretty much consolidated all its superhero IP by now, and Tatsunoko is still tied up to different western anime distributors.

I've played through 3 a few times on PS5 and tbf I still think it's one of the best looking games on it. They really did well to make it look so good, even on ps4.
Will be really interesting to see how they can make it look even better. As long as it doesn't affect the framerate!
