This was many years ago now, still don't know why I had to say anything but here we go. Must have been about 16 at the time working for Brantano Footwear. Two women I worked with were having a conversation as I walked past.
"I got a rabbit last night!" to which the other girls response was "have you played with it yet"
I should have done what everyone else would have done and just carried on but no I didn't.
Me: oh a rabbit, what kind?
Them: what do you mean...
Me: Albino rabbit? My hamster is an Albino
Them: errm nooo not that sort of rabbit followed by some giggling as the penny (slowly) dropped for me.
I don't think I said anything after that and just walked away.

At tesco a security guard was checking a couple's shopping as the alarm had gone off, when a man in his 50s with slicked back greased black hair walks past and bellows "Aint ya got anything better to do??"
