I used to use the title of a Mondo Generator song to play Quake 3 online and over the years through different iterations and availability improvisations its been reduced to this Big likes for the Mondo Generator fandom |

I’m a Tom and at one point I was 9. I used to be SmoothMartin on the old place until i couldn’t log in for the past couple of years so stuck with this one.
The old account was happened upon as we used to know a Martin and he was always referred to as smooth. I thought I’d try to appropriate some of his style online, but it never happened.

Way back when I was a programmer (I'm a "software architect" now), I made a coding mistake and the word "bool" turned red in my editor/IDE. Ha ha... That was 15 years ago. I'm kind of done with it actually, but I'm really lousy at coming up with a new one.

After a slew of childish names, usually final fantasy related, I thought I'd need a more 'edgey adult' one to harken in the 360 days.
I was a huge fan of the rainbow 6 game on the original xbox, and it had a zulu command for breaking into a room.
I always felt a bit heroic everytime I did it, and my username was born.
So it's not a reference to a certain Michael Caine film, as people often think, nor am I proud member of the zulu nguni people.
I'm back to thinking it's a bit childish again, but kind of stuck with it after all these years.

My first proper tag was playing Star Trek Elite force with Locutus but loads of people also used it unsurprisingly.
Then one day me and some mates were really stoned and another mate turned up and called me Jeremiah Puddleduck.
I decided that actually Puddleduck didn't have the usual cringe factor to it like a "Headshotterlolz" or "Death_killer_mum_fucker" and no one else was using it so switched it to that. Also I really like the idea of a duck that just lives in a puddle splashing around and having fun.

Dates back to my first venture into online gaming back on the Dreamcast. As a young lad delving into a new world, calling myself "UltraSniperzz" seemed a bit odd, so used my name and country as a friendly way of letting strangers know who I was..
With being one of the early xbox live beta testers the name was available and kind of stuck..
Didn't forsee 21 years down the line it could make me appear to be one of the GB News faithful.

Actually had the odd Brexit related insult thrown my way on xbox live, nice change from racist and homophobic slurs I suppose.
Did think about changing it, but like many others.. I've had it so long now, I'm stuck with it.

It's based on a cobold spell from the German PnP RPG that goes like "zagibu, ubigaz, nichts mehr wert ist dieser Schatz". It turns valuables into garbage. Which is basically my forte. I used it back in the ICQ days as my handle and it kinda stuck. I've used it in so many different communities now that it would feel weird to use something else.
