Beyond the young crowd, the crossfitters in my place were some of the biggest dickheads there. Just going to yoink all the weight plates and carry the rowing machine all through the gym to downstairs...At least the powerlifters are all ok. Thankfully, the main PT opened his own crossfit gym and most have all moved there. Most were in good shape zissou, despite being a bunch of oiks, so you can definitely get ripped!

I've never had any issues with dickheads in the gym. They've all been just going about their business and keeping to themselves.
There was once last summer some teenagers were coming and no matter how small the dumbbells were they'd drop them to the floor, even when using a preacher curl station.
I shared a few eye rolls with a few of the regulars during that time period, but otherwise it's been great.

Crossfit does barbell deadifts & squats doesn't it?
They never really feel easier, especially as they get heavier.
Unless you go lighter for reps. Love them though, you know you've worked out after them.

Yeah that's right. I'm starting fairly light because I've got a weakened neck/shoulder, but still doesn't make it any easier. My physio told me that the pain will get worse, before it gets better.

I’ve been a Crossfit wanker for a few months now. Definitely feel better for it. There’s decent variety, and I like that there’s both supervised Olympic lifting (cos I’m too scared to do it without someone telling me what I’m getting wrong) and some focus on mobility/gymnastics stuff (cos I’m old now and as flexible as a brick).

Like a sort of TRX one arm row plus dumbbell extension on the other arm. Fucking really hard (for me at least), but satisfying. I'll see what other shit he did and try that too

I saw some tiktok yesterday of one of Jake Gyllenhaal's exercises when he was getting ripped for Road House so I tried it this morning. Like a sort of TRX one arm row plus dumbbell extension on the other arm. Fucking really hard (for me at least), but satisfying. I'll see what other shit he did and try that too Dr Mike did a fairly scathing review of the stuff Jake's trainer was getting him to do. I found it quite amusing, but that probably depends on your tolerance for him.
