It's fun seeing how bad games run on a One S, Art of Rally runs worse than the alpha build on pc 2 years ago.

I'm really enjoying The Ascent, unfortunately the new DLC for Valhalla has dropped so I'll be playing that for the foreseeable.

Sad that Art of Rally runs like dogshit on the S. I've got it at 120fps on my laptop and it's glorious. Yet to try it on the Series X though.

I got it on Epic's store for less than a fiver a year ago, its always been installed since and just up to Group B in career. Nice joypad game when a little time spare.

siroccojetprop do a console restart. That fixed it for me, but only temporarily- it happened again after I went to another game and back again

Just tried it on my Series X and it synced all my progress from PC and seemed to work OK. It was definitely bullshit the first time I ran it on PC though - endless loop, restarts, all sorts to get it running.

Skatebird was suppose to be out on Thursday but game is delayed till September, wanted to try that but Hades will keep me busy for a while

It's a great game to zone out to, I'm finding. Already near the end of the Group 3 career rally events, bouncing between PC and Series X.

I’m addicted to it, have done a couple of days DIY this week but “rewarded” myself with a quick stage (or three) every couple of hours.
Any of the daily/weekly events have refused to load though, just never work- anyone else?

I've been enjoying Dodgeball Academia. It looks fantastic and the dodgeball fights are great fun. The sound design is clearly Pokémon influenced but that's no bad thing.

edit: actually its working today for daily and weekly events on the Epic store version.

Playing The Ascent: the gameplay is good but the endless traversal and shitty fast travel system is wearing me down. I basically play it till I rage quit about having to go all the way across the map for the umpteenth time. Will finish the story and call it a day, good game pass game though I guess.

I found travel in The Ascent just takes too long. The game's... erm... "high friction". Very pretty, but I dropped it after a couple of hours.

With the ascent its nothing special apart from the graphics. The game play gets very stale, mediocre quests and the awful fast travel. The game is gamepass fodder (aka not actually great game but I have gamepass and glad I didn't buy it)

I actually tried Gears 5 with touch controls today out of interest. I...I wouldn't recommend that one.
The golf game on there works pretty well for a pick up and play option. Not the greatest game in the world mind.
