You put the game in when you've got the game. Some people choose to put upcoming games in there, but I've never really seen the point. edit: to be clear though, if you've pre-ordered then it goes on the list right now. Because pre-ordering is for chumps. You can apply to the DuckBreaker for clemency in exceptional cases, though, for example a limited run game or that silly thing Nintendo did where they artificially limited the Mario All Stars collection, etc. etc. But you'd still be a chump.

Unless you’ve preordered like an eejut, then it has to go in, straight away. I’m sure no-one here is that daft though.

Well said, forumite Nazo. I just amended my post to say the same thing.

Cheers fellas. I only ever pre-ordered one game, and RDR2 is a guilty pleasure for a western fanatic like myself. Even though I regret it somewhat now. Was a great game but a bit of a disappointment. Not to crab anyone else but it seems like a ridiculous thing to do. I'm a get it cheap and get it second hand kinda guy. Much more satisfying and easier on the wallet.
I'm looking forward to this year's pigwhip. I struggle to get games over the line at the best of times!
