The head fog was by far the worst symptom imo. Really weird.

Just been reading about operations cancelled and all sorts of problems at my local hospital due to lack of personnel. Letitrip continuing to prove its worth.

You did make it sound pretty mild in fairness. Didn't seem to stop you posting at all either... Apart from normal cold symptoms, I had body aches, diarrhoea, fuzzy head, memory and concentration issues and as I did write, the most painful sore throat I’ve ever experienced. I wasn’t flat out in bed the whole team so could post. “Mild” just means you’re not in danger and don’t need hospital attention, it’s been completely misused. That is from the msg that the bats had ingested when cooking up this plague in the first place.

ONS say we’ve passed 200,000 deaths now
I don’t think I’ve known as many friends to have it all at the same time as I do right now

Cold and Mild flu like symptoms then, check.

Can't think of where you got that impression from. They seem to have a perfectly amicable relationship.

The only reason he posts is for attention and that I find both irritating and bizarre in equal measure. He will be jacking off to this bit as it’s about him, for example. But yeah - “vendetta” it ain’t. You crack on Ecosse, it’s all good.

I think we're all a bit guilty of jacking off while we post on FG

Equally, you could just let things go for once rather than dragging it back up over a day later.

...Rolo.
I still don't think I've actually had it yet, despite working for the NHS. Before it started I used to get 3 to 4 proper colds every year, but I haven't had one since 2019 now, and I've hardly been sheltering. The only time I've been unwell was from when I had my first jab (Astra Zeneca). A trip to London next weekend might just do the trick though.

Pretty much better after 7 days but still testing positive. The brain fog has mostly dissipated and all other symptoms (apart from slight shortness of breath) gone, which is handy.
4/10 would not recommend.

Have Covid again, not as bad as the first time I got it at Christmas time. Last time I had asthma attacks afterwards and had to go on new medication; I hope the aftereffects this time will be less severe.

First day of her summer holidays and my wife is down again. Just a heavy cold at the moment, an improvement on last time...at this stage before, she was puking up for 36 hours. Has been feeling gradually worse since We'd and tested every day but only showed this morning. Apparently parents at her school were sending the kids in either symptomatic or not tested or both.
Meant to have a big family birthday BBQ for her mum today. Think me and the kids are still going as we are clear but will stay outside and away from people.

I think when I got it a second time a few weeks ago it was around 2 months since I’d had it before.

Yeah, for us two anyway. We all had delta in September last year, boy then got Omicron in Jan but the rest of us avoided it.
Have a short London break booked for next weekend, including theatre tickets. Can see that being wiped out if we all tumble.
