Thanks TBH a lot of my posts on here are completely tongue-in-cheek and of course I knew it was a question of luck and time but I am a bit annoyed at myself as I have been less careful recently and went to France a week ago, ate in restaurants etc. it's certain I got it there or just afterwards when weakened with the food poisoning . It'm really disappointed at missing the trip to visit my cousin and the concert  |

Since the pandemic started I have:
Been on five holidays
Done a lot of eating out to help out
Been to several football matches with full crowds
Been to a festival of 250,000 people
Spent six hours in a car with two people who tested positive shortly afterwards
Spent a week and counting in a house with someone testing very positive
Still nothing. I think I must have some freakish natural immunity to it.

At this stage I wouldn't be surprised to discover I've had it for over two years, am immune to symptoms and I don't show up on tests and have been inadvertently distributing it around the world and I am largely responsible for the downfall of society. |

Im not sure how my daughter has avoided it a second time. We all got it in feb 2020 but since then she has avoided at least half a dozen outbreaks in her year and close friends group, been out on school trips and I gave her a lift to school the morning I tested positive.
The vaccine must be doing its job.
