Cheers looked it up. No expiration date on boosters when traveling UK to Spain which is what I was curious about most. Would be traveling from Dublin on an Irish passport so wouldn't have to show anything there either, just wasn't sure if my address in Northern Ireland would nullify the Irish passport requirements.
Travelled to Spain in April and I remember it was necessary for your booster to have been in the last 180 days or something but that's been dropped.

I know it can take some days to show up as positive.

My wife was negative in the morning, felt like shit at 6pm and tested positive. I felt like trash suddenly when I went to bed and tested positive first thing next day. It doesn’t really benefit to delay testing tbh, sooner you know the better. If it’s negative try again in a couple of days to be sure.
we're still testing once a week here just to be sure, had it so many times we’d probably be asymptomatic by now. I don’t envy anyone who’s dodged it this long

I woke up with a thumping headache on the Sunday and tested negative. Woke up on Monday and the headache was worse, still negative. By about 4pm I felt so rotten in tested again and was positive, so nearly 36hrs for me.
I suppose the difference is that I knew it was covid because the wife already had it.

Supervisor at work has covid at the moment and has been in today wearing a mask. He has talking at length with one of my mates this morning who has quite severe asthma (still wearing his mask). When they finished I said, did he tell you he has covid as he handed him some stuff as well and he hadn't.
16 people off sick today, most of them are due to covid. Guessing it will get worse as week goes on.

We were both negative yesterday, but misses felt like she had a fever in the evening, took another test and was positive. I've woken up feeling pretty shit and am positive to. We're a covid family.
Good news is, the boy seems fine. No signs of fever and just a cough which he's had for a little while anyway so could be something else. 🙂

I was supposed to go to Barcelona on Thursday to visit my cousin who had heart surgery 6 weeks ago and from there go to Paris to see a Midnight Oil Concert on their last ever tour. Having to cancel that is quite the pisser. |
