Corden is a good choice. His success is an enduring mystery.

I’ve been blessed and cursed with a profession where I’ve worked with quite a few tv people. Honestly I’ve been lucky in that most have been lovely. But there’s always a few cunts. My top 5: 1: Ruby Wax 2: David Walliams 3: Stephen Dillane 4. Martin Freeman 5. Noel Clarke. Obviously. Clarke and Walliams obviously but what's wrong with the others?

Has been dead for six years, she must have really pissed you off if you still find her annoying.

She really was a sour cunt according to many people. It was her big teeth that did it for me. John Cleese also seems like a bit of an old man cunt.

Without going into too much detail they were all either very difficult to work with or just plain cunty.

Oh I forgot another one I've met...
John Simm - arrogant arsehole

My wife works in TV and has met loads of TV celebrities, the only two she has really disliked (as have the rest of the crew) are Stephen Graham and Keith Allen. Apparently both are utter twats.

Oh yes, spill some beans. John Simm does strike me as potentially being an arrogant twat mind you. He's got that kind of face.

This is a very strange thread. Doesn't Heat magazine have a forum for stuff like this?

Oh alright then.
Ruby: Arrived late for our meeting and was an absolute nightmare throughout. I tried to leave things on a positive note by thanking her for her time and telling her my girlfriend loved her book, and she just stared daggers at me for what felt like an eternity. When I asked if I'd offended her in some way she got up and walked off, leaving her PR assistant to apologise for her.
Walliams: Witnessed him acting like a total shit on BGT and treating runners and PR assistants like dirt - to the point that Simon Cowell had to have a word.
Dillane: Was shown to his trailer for a scheduled meeting and was told to get out and wait outside in the rain. He eventually came out and conducted what was the worst interview of my career from the doorway while I got soaked through.
Freeman: Just incredibly grumpy and reluctant to do anything - despite being contracted to do so.
Noel Clarke: Allegations notwithstanding, he was the perfect example of someone who was all matey when recording and an arsehole the minute it stopped.

Oh and John Thompson is apparently a bit of twat too, totally up himself, really nice to your face but then complains about you to the producers behind your back. He did this with loads of people on cold feet. The producers just take it with a pinch of salt and humour him.

Interesting. Walliams has always come across as a massive prick and I have about that kind of behaviour from him. It's always interesting about the persona that people like him project for the public. I get that everyone is human at the end of the day but I never get why a lot of people in the public eye feel the need to treat people like they're subhuman.

Lots of casual racism/ableism from Walliams as well, from his Little Britain days to his children's books. He's always been an arsehole

Well, yeah. I hated LB at the time so never watched it. I do remember a Twitter thread from someone a year or so ago who read one of Walliams children's books after their kids had read it and was horrified at all the bigoted shit he was feeding to their children

My boy liked his books for a time and early on I would read them to him. They were fucking dreadful. I genuinely can't see how they have become so popular. Compared to other stuff I read him at the time, I would always dread having to read Walliams dirge the most. Utter tripe.
That's Walliams all over though. I did actually like LB at the time but it was mainly because of Lucas.

Reading his kids books opened my eyes to some of his shit. It's not like they were even great books. Dahl wannabe.

Children’s books is such a cliquey inbred club though, instant money maker for the author who doesn’t have to write anything decent as it’ll be published, reviewed, praised and heavily promoted by all their mates
