Doesn’t seem like much, looking around local marketplaces. There’s one 30th Anniversary Slim up but nothing else. Loads on Ebay. No doubt, but very few of those will be from Sweden. Things may change on release but for the Anniversary stuff I would think it would be advertised now. For regular Pro consoles we may see people try to flip them before Xmas if stock is limited. |

Yeah, I'm a sucker and despite my initial negative reaction (and work meaning I missed my slot in the queue 3 times) I ended up pre-ordering a Pro console. Digital Foundry's video yesterday has a lot to answer for in my opinion.
Those Pro 30th anniversary listings on eBay though are something else.

Thought about getting the controller and ended up not bothering, I really don't need another one. It would look nice though. I hovered for a while, added to basket then told myself I didn't NEED it and closed the window. I do really love the look of it though, still very tempted. |

I read a Tech radar piece about it. It’s bloody cramped inside so that could have been a reason, another is that it would have shoved the price even higher than its current eye watering level

I think it will have to be relative to sales, developers will be behind the Pro but if the PS5 Pro sales are similar to the PS4 Pro, it will be something like 80/20 split in favour of the base machine. No way will Sony be happy that the majority of their customers are getting titles that are in an even less optimised state than some that are released now. I'd hope things continue as now.

According to IGN Sony have doubled the price of Horizon Zero Dawn to $40 to stop people buying it for $20 and then upgrading for $10 instead of paying $50 for the remaster.

Some devs will add some extra graphical effects but I think the majority will just stick to PSSR for a 60fps mode ala FF7 Rebirth. Your 1st party stuff obviously will be of a different calibre. |

Also seeing as the majority of ps5 owners will be using a base ps5 they'll still be optimising for that crowd rather than a relatively small number of customers. So again like the ps4 pro.

Amazingly I got my asking price of £350 for my PS5 with hardly any time wasters. Suppose it did have expanded storage and black faceplates, but I still expected some sort of haggling...
First guy to message me offered me £200 of course, just to complete the marketplace experience.
