Better shadows and a higher resolution, if the Pro can do that at 60 and with using PSSR to reduce the artefacting it'd be a hell of a better looking game.

£700 for my PS4 remakes to look a bit better. Even DF seem tepid. Will at least be interesting to see how it does tomorrow, but I shan't be hitting refresh madly whilst I should have been working like with the PS5 launch.

I'm sure it will be sold out in minutes, but kind of hoping people give Sony the finger for it. They need a bit of a wake up call this generation, as it is feeling like they are taking their audience for granted (and Microsoft aren't doing anything to make them think otherwise).

I think it's the most likely answer, it's out next month, Casper Van Dien is involved in the game now it's a first person game so should be fairly straightforward to get working in VR. Performance the only potential factor.

Just took a glance (out of curiosity) and it says the queue has been paused since 8:05. Does that mean they think they have had enough people in he queue for all availability almost 2 hours before it actually goes up for pre-order?!

I would say everyone's being kept on hold until 10:00, then queue numbers will be assigned randomly.
Games Workshop use the same system for FOMO releases and that's how they do it. If you're lucky when the queue goes live your wait is just minutes, if not you won't be on for an hour or more.
Bad news is that GW's queue-it system was defeated by scalpers with special software that allowed them to jump to the front of the queue and snap everything up. Let's hope that doesn't happen here.

The Anniversary one is a beaut. If I didn't already have a PS5, I would definitely be in the queue for that.
I'm also curious to know how mad they have gone with the pricing of the Anniversary Pro bundle.

Well, all the anniversary Pros are gone along with the Portal, but they still have the Anniversary Slim and the Dual Sense in stock.
Plenty of standard Pros too, it seems.

This coming the day after payday is a bit dangerous... Found myself in the queue even though I told myself I wouldn't.
Doesn't help that FF7 Rebirth is up next in my pile and performance mode looks like shit on the base PS5.

Wow, the Anniversary Pro bundle was £960. That actually is much better than I was expecting, as I assumed it would be comfortably over £1,000. The standard Pro console and controllers alone would be a grand (maybe a bit over) just by themselves.
I might actually have been tempted by that... all gone now (and up on eBay), of course.
