Lots of spoilers doing the rounds at the moment apparently... Not that Nintendo haven't already done a good job at that with their trailers. Going to factory reset my switch today as it's had a few performance issues in other games. So long Pokémon save... Cant you cloud save everything first? |

Yeah, saves for all of my games apart from Pokemon Shield can be backed up. It only supports save transfers between two switches for that.
Pretty bloody annoying, but I'll live without it I guess.

@auntallison - reviews are out on the 6th I believe. Previews have been pretty much universally good though.

Is there a general consensus from reviews? I'm still not sold on it - forgot about it to be honest. Just going to wait and see how people find it here probably. I bet it's not as good as DK Tropical Freeze and I'm playing that anyway What reviews? I presume it's still under embargo. The previews (from a controlled even Nintendo put on that gave them two hours with the game) have been quite positive, but take it all with a bucket of salt until reviewers actually get the whole thing in their grubby mitts. |

All the previews have been very positive, so I reckon it should be good - perhaps not top of its genre good (like DK apparently is) but still a good return for the series. |

Not liking the sound of more melee countering. I hated the way that it was the only way to kill half the stuff in Samus Returns.

Honestly I'd probably have cancelled my preorder at that and the stealth but I got in on the cheap Currys deal and they don't seem to have cancelled it.

EG's review mentions it, for example. Doesn't bother me either way - I've just come off a bout of Sekiro, so I'm all about the counter right now.  |

Hopefully, though the EG review did say you were constantly using it - I'd be happy if they just made your standard weapons a bit less weak as well. I ended up dropping SR because it was just too much of a faff and it didn't feel satisfying to land it. The low frame rate didn't help, of course.

Has anyones status been updated on their Curry's pre-order yet? Checked and mine is still sitting there on 'Ordered'. Checked their delivery service, seems like it is supposed to be handled by DPD.

Mine is still at “order confirmed”. Won’t mind too much if they scratch it as it’s way lower than what they’re currently asking but if they’re going to they should get a shift on.
