I’ve got the first What If book on my to read pile at the moment.
I’d also recommend looking up the online in conversation event Randall did with Ryan North that’s on youtube. Its nominally about one of Ryan’s books but they basically just ask each other questions or try to one up each other with interesting facts.

I only today found out that Steven van Zandt - who I really only knew as Silvio from The Sopranos and a little bit from Lilyhammer - is actually a musician and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee as a member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band.
There’s an upcoming documentary about him and everything…

I learnt that the word Arctic (as in the polar region) comes from the Greek work for bear (arktos) and that is why it is named the Arctic - because it has polar bears.
The Antarctic is so called because it is the anti or opposite of bears so no bears at the Antarctica.
