We just had some rain for the first time in almost a month, March had 10% of the normal average precipitation.
Nice to have sun and blue skies every day but not good at all.

Apparently you're statistically more likely to get snow in Easter than you are at Christmas.
At least that's what the guy serving coffee at my little boys football match on Saturday told me. Spread the word.

I dislike the "we", when it is very much excessively rich cunts making these decisions.
I recycle. I refill my shower gel. I avoid certain products. I eat less meat. I do not drive. I have no spawn.
My worst aspect is liking games.
Fucking pointless. Seriously just go HAM on the SUVs, they'll be easier to weld into weapons when the time comes. More torque. We'll have to rip out the chips and get them working mechanically again is all.

Sure, the current grand master fuckery is restricted to the CEO level, but really, there are lots of smaller scoped bad decisions that add up. Look at what happens in Brazil or Madagascar. It's just poor people trying to make a living, but they are actually making it worse for everyone, including their own children. Billions of people making small bad decisions still ends up in a big fuckery. Too few are willing to give up some real tangible comfort for an unnoticeably small effect on global sustainability. I do agree, though, that most of those small bad decisions are only possible or even necessary because of some fuckups on a much higher level. |

Yep, as burning of fossil fuels for electricity is by some distance the biggest contributor we can thank Indonesia and Australia for their solid export work  China is by far the worst wrt. consumption it seems, with the USA not far behind India. Even under someone like Biden, the USA keeps building coal plants, we're screwed. If we all continue to eat much less beef, drive less, fly less, recycle etc. then it'll still only affect single-digit percentage of emissions. Our only hope is some technological advancement that can keep rich people rich and also sort the planet out, whatever the fuck that could be. |

I've said it before but I think the only real way to have any impact as a single person is by voting and changing those in charge.
You can't keep voting for the same sacks of shit who have not done anything but made things worse over the years and then sit around being dumbfounded by why nothing has changed.
True meaningful change will require a massive shift of habits across the board so lets start at the top.
Wishful thinking perhaps but when environmental policy is claimed to be a big issue for the electorate you would think they would vote suitably although I am yet to see that happen.
