Yeah. I'm a plum. I've had such a good week (well, that's bollocks actually but I think Wednesday was good so it put me on a high) and thought "ach no, I'm fine I'm going to sound like a tit when I go". I just made an excuse that I couldn't get away from work. I do this a lot, but it took me a loooooong time to admit it so you're already better than me. Get back in there dude.

I'll give it a few more days. If I dip again, I'll pick up the phone. I know it seems stupid, but I won't be able to face speaking to someone face to face if I don't "feel" like I need their help. For now, I'm tentatively in a good place. I feel, what's the word... robust. Like I can tackle shit head on, and I am.
The rowing is helping. I've got a race coming up in a few weeks, I'm integrating myself into the board for the club, I'm part of a development crew looking forward into 2024. My son is doing well, he's happy, my wife's art is picking up dramatically and she's in a great place as well so... I don't know. Things are actually okay.

My advice would be to just treat it like any other appointment - for your GP, dentist, Mistress, etc - and just turn up. Don't put any more thought into it than that
If you've already had an assessment, it's likely the first meeting will be fairly relaxed anyway to build a bit of rapport between you. You can talk about how well things have been going for you and your feelings about the appointments (and if you feel you still need them) and just go from there. They will be the best person to talk to about all the things you're thinking about
Also, as you've discovered, mental health support can be difficult to get at the moment unfortunately, so I'd grab it with both hands
