‘Pro-Palestine’ accounts denying it was Russia’s attack make me want to pull my hair out, and do so much harm to their own cause.
Like you’ve watched the IDF obliterate hospitals and kill countless civilians, and had to deal with the denialism and accusations over false flags attacks there, and now you do the same things for Putin just to be anti-Western?
Fuck these people so much and it’s no wonder they’re often the ones who stray over the line to rank antisemitism rather than supporting Palestinian freedom.
Horseshoe theory never been more true than these past 9 months. Fucking arseholes.
Edit: I should clarify, they’re probably not harming their cause since all they care about is grifting and engagement rather than actually getting truth out to people.

As a self respecting socialist, I struggle to see why people would think Putin is whose side we should take. The man is an evil cunt. China isn’t communist, never really was. So they can fuck off too, they do enough evil shite. Cuba has standards to aspire to, but even they aren’t great. There’ll never be something truly great, until we stop putting cocks in power.
Still our GE and France’s gave me a modicum of hope. Who knows.

Just reading up on Melenchon and he sounds awful - while the far left in france is looking to do some good things like heavy taxes on high earners, Melenchon is soft on putin and found recent article from globalist saying "Mélenchon as Putin's Useful Idiot"

Dunno how long they'll be able to hold it, or even if they plan to do so, but I guess it has its benefits - as a buffer zone against attacks into Ukraine, and as a distraction that throws the Russian plan off balance, and forces them to redeploy their forces.
But almost everything anyone has predicted about this war has ended up being wrong, so who knows.
