Fortunately especially with Disney it's got to a point where we've watched everything we are realistically going to watch. Any new movie additions it's actually as cheap/er now just to buy the Blu Ray which is also ours forever.

I’ve put ours on hold for a few months. It’ll be worth resigning for a month or so every so often but pointless otherwise. Bluey is still the main thing that was getting watched and there’s iPlayer as a backup on that anyway.

richardioxYeah, due to me going off the newer Marvel and SW content it's gone from being something that had too much choice, to something that I only use for the Bear, WWDITS and Only Murders. Don't think I'd be able to justify keeping it premium annually even if I could pay to upgrade it now.

They'll probably now wonder why piracy is on the increase while subscriptions are falling.

I still think that the cost of streaming services isn't that crazy compared to the amount of money people have spent on television since the availability of cable services and, particularly, Sky. Plenty of people spent (and still do) £40+ a month on those services and you would have access to plenty of streaming services for the same cost, particularly if you are happy to pay for a year up front.
However, the cost is getting to the point where you could easily spend the same amount on blu-rays a month and have access to about the same amount of content you would watch on streaming services (well, I would, as generally I only watch one or two things at a time and not much of a binge watcher). You would actually own them too. I would seriously consider doing that, but I expect the selection of TV shows on physical media is likely pretty limited now.

Be careful out there: man dies at Disney restaurant due to allergy after being told it was allergen free, and Disney argue widow can't sue because he signed a Disney+ free trial subscription.

It was the man’s wife who died, she wasn’t even the one to sign up to Disney+

Disney acting like the ridiculous villains of the Saturday morning cartoons they produce. Not sure how 'signing up for one of our products determines all interactions with us' is a viable defence.

They're supposedly getting all of Macross but they've not announced when or which exactly. So far they've done Delta and Frontier which appears to be reverse chronological order...
Just put up Macross Plus damn it.

I bet they make a woman the hero like they did to Star Wars. Disney more like Diswoke, amirite?
